The backing tracks were all professionally done. Not extraordinary. Just up there professional. Perfectly adequate for your performances without the nuisance of knowing you've done well singing only to see the momentum held bk by feeble backing. The demo singing was even better. JCSS isn't the type of musical that lends itself to half hearted demo singing because of its intensity and its complexity. All demo singers did a great job esp Gethsamene. Only small whining would be agst the demo of *I don't know how to love him*. The singer had power but could have piled on the angst and tender sorrow more.

All in all, a worthy piece of job. I've bought many musical karaokes. I've seen much worse plenty.

I am so disappointed in this product that words cannot begin to describe how I feel. While the original Jesus Christ Super Star CD has about 21 songs with vocals, this accompaniment only has 12 tracks with accompaniment. For example, there are no instrumentals for "Jesus Must die" or Judas's death". The available accompaniments are severely compromised, verses are cut off and some are so out of pitch. If you are looking for accompainment for the entire Jesus Christ Super Star soundtrack, this is NOT the product for you.

Seriously disappointed customer.

I was a karaoke jock in a bar for many years back in the 1990's - and believe me, I've heard some BAD karaoke! Thankfully, the "Sing The Broadway Musical JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR" CD set does not fall into the aforementioned category.

Although it is definitely more "synthesized" than the Pocket Songs collection, "STBM JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR" has professional sounding background midi tracks with relatively "non-cheesy" feel.

Fortunately, unlike a few misbegotten tracks on the Pocket Songs collections, the "STBM JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR" contains NO background vocals on the accompaniment CD!

Unfortunately, the set is only CD's and not CDG's, so don't expect the lyrics to appear on your screen.

The "Sing The Broadway Musical JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR" set also includes several songs that Pocket Songs doesn't, so if you're looking for the full musical, you'll need to purchase both collections - Even then, there are several songs missing.



Final assessment: Better than anything your computer will generate from downloaded midi files. Worth the money? - Yes.

These tracks sound like crap compared to the original 1970 recording. Pilate's Dream is the only decent track.

This audio download says that it is a download of the two-CD album. That is a lie! There are only 4 songs - 8 tracks. There is no way to return it or to contact Yahoo customer service. This is a very very bad deal. Don't be tricked!
