As far as textbooks go I find no faults with Brock. The book has a great level of depth and certainly covers such a broad subject splendidly. I'm finding it difficult to separate the book from the instructor I had but as I think about it I wish I had relied more on the text than on lecture notes. Since most people purchasing this text are forced to buy it, I'll speak to the minority of those just desiring to learn microbiology on their own and say- "you're crazy" and you should probably read Brock!

The book was said to be like new, but really it is in fair condition. The binding is loose and there was a lot of highlighting in it. For 21 dollars it was still a great deal. I had high hopes of a like new book and was a little disappointed when i got it in fair condition. I am still glad i got the book cheap.

This is one of the few books im gonna keep from the classes i've taken, its a good book to read fro reference

There is a new edition of this book. To me, the newer edition has a better cover. Overall the text is almost the same...

I needed this book for Microbiology class. This book has great color diagrams that coincide with the reading material. It also contains photos of organisms under microscopes which also enables the reader to get the full picture of the learned material.

He shipped it out ten mins after i purchased it and i got it in 4-5 days - absolutely great condition and great timing!

This book came quicker than was expected and it was in very good condition. I would recommend this seller to others.

Clear and concise, and covers a wide range of subjects. My only complaint is that it is very large and extremely heavy, so it is not very portable.

this product was amazing! not much damage at all, shipping lasted a bit but that was to be expected for a textbook. so all in all great service.
