I just got my copy of Brody's Ghost in the mail today, and the first thing I noticed that the book overall was thinner than Crilley's other manga Miki Falls.
But that doesn't change my opinion of the manga book. Brody's Ghost is amazing!

I don't know where to begin with the detail in each panel; every detail is just astounding!
Every location, every person, everything is just packed with amazing detail!
The realistic manga style that is used in the book is crazy good; it slightly resembles the Death Note manga!

The story is very good so far; Brody, a poor man who lives in his run down apartment, struggles to get through life, until one day he meets Talia, a deceased girl in the form of a ghostly figure, who tells Brody of his psychic powers that he was not aware that he had.
I cannot go any further than that; I do not want to spoil it.

Mark Crilley has done an extremely great job creating Brody's Ghost. It truly is an amazing book, although it's the only one available at the time.
I do not know when the next book will be out, but I know I will be pre-ordering it ASAP!

If you are a fan of Mark Crilley's work Akiko or Miki Falls, then Brody's Ghost is something that you will LOVE! Buy it now!

really liked the story to this book man it just flowed really good all way through till the end read it in 1 sitting & i have to say that's the best way to read it. Brody's & Talia just go together so well in the book i thought. All in all I'd say pick it up if would like a good read!! sick art as well!!

As someone who has read Miki Falls, I was pleased to see that Brody's Ghost is very different. Mark Crilley has a broad imagination, and the stories have no similarities. Regardless, the art remains fantastic and the story is just as (if not more so) engaging as the story of his last series.

It's a short read, but it felt well-developed and it's definitely worth it for the price. The characters are intriguing, and I'm already anticipating the sequel! I would check it out.

I read the first book and it was awesome. I look forward to the second book.

I've been following Mark Crilley on a few mediums and was more than happy to support him in his next endeavor. He does such a marvelous job of creating this world that you become immersed in it and can't wait to turn the page. If you love stories and detailed pictures you'll find what you're looking for in this book. Nothing short of an original story and can't wait to continue it. Enjoy!

I been waiting for this book for awhile and finally got it. I liked the story, characters, and the timeline. This book is about some low life street hanger whose trying to make a living playing his guitar and all this sudden some girl(talia) appears to him(Brody) and ask him to help her to do some good works so she can enter to heavens and by this she chooses to resolve a murder case. The story goes with Talia trying to unlock Brody's power to help her. It's a very good story but is no long enough as Miki Falls.

Vey Good Manga book
Mark Crilley does a fantastic job, Cant wait for the others iin the series to comne out. Managa just isnt for kids, even us older folks enjoy it to.
This was bought for a gift for my daughter, but i enjoyed reveiwing it before they get it for a Christmas present. Thanks Mark for the adventure.
I highly recommend it for Manga lovers.

Brody's Ghost is completely different from Crilley's previous series (Miki Falls: Spring). There's an entirely different feel to these characters, this world, this story. What's the same is the fantastic art and the novel-like quality of the writing that make these manga such enjoyable reading.

Picked up Brody's Ghost yesterday and devoured it that evening. Mark Crilley's writing is engaging and exciting. Crilley's art is also amazing. While you can see Crilley's Manga influences, his own style comes out and I truly love it. I think Mark Crilley is a hidden treasure among the throng on the manga bookshelf. This series is a must read for me.

I found out about Mark Crilley (the author/illustrator) through Cartoon Block's channel on YouTube. I watched a few of Mark's drawing tutorial videos and really admired his skill and willingness to help out other artists. I'm currently going to college for game design and development and will focus on conceptual art and creative directing so I'm always looking for great artists and storytellers. I decided to pick up Mark's most recent graphic novel series and absolutely fell in love. The art style, story, and everything else is so fresh and unique I've read the first two books at least 10 times now.

Book 1 is a great start to a wonderful tale that I see only getting better with each release. My only complaint is that, due to Mark working on this series essentially by himself, is that the books' releases are fairly stretched out. But, that gives us readers a great deal of time to enjoy other publications and save up money for his next books. I highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys graphic novels with a manga art style and fantastic story.
