The Char Broil Quickset series grill is a great value with all of the mandatory features of a dependable grill. This model features an efficient dual burner Even Flame cooking system, that ensures even heat across the grilling surface. It is powered by 35,000 BTUs and the stainless steel burner system is complimented by a porcelain cooking grate. The porcelain cooking surface allows for easy cleaning after use. The cooking surface includes substantial 340 sq. in. of primary cooking area with another 240 sq. in. additional from the warming rack. The grill includes easy to use push button ignition and weather resistant side shelves. The reliable and sturdy "X" frame design provides added convenience for transport with two 7" wheels. This model includes a condiment tray for storage of spices and seasonings. Aesthitically speaking, the "X" frame is given an aluminum finish for a more contemporary look. For those concerned with grill assembly the Quickset alleviates all fears as it takes minutes to assemble with no tools required.

I bought this grill from a department store and was very disappointed. It was easy to put together, however, it did not work well at all. It caught my food on fire, and the temperature setting does not work well at all--it won't turn down. The ignitor also did not work. I am very disappointed with this grill and am taking it back

The grill works great. It was easy to set up and install the propane. The heat is high enough for a low-end grill. We have used a much more expensive grill, but dollar for dollar this grill keeps up. Our only issue was that the grill box was missing many of the parts. Char Broil customer service was, however, excellent and shipped the parts out immediately.

This bbq is adequate for some grilling needs. Flaming food is more likely the result of inadequate grilling knowledge rather than the fault of the grill. Indeed, were I to choose one shortcoming of this grill it would be that it does not get hot enough. For example, when cooking chicken thighs I had to turn the gas all the way past high to the ignition setting simply to get the bbq sauce to crisp properly. The unit itself is cheaply built with the lowest quality materials, but that is to be expected nowadays on items produced abroad in developing countries with poorly trained and paid workers; by companies looking to cut every conceivable corner. Assembly is quite simple and the guide book avoids the possibilty of confusing instructions by simply doing away with words almost entirely; relying instead on pictographic instructions. If you are looking for a serious grill this is certainly not the grill for you, but if you need a temporary grill which might last for two years, or are an occasional barbequer of such simple fare as chicken, burgers, and sausages then this unit will suffice.
