This is my second Broil King grill. The last one, a Crown 2, lasted 10 years. I looked at all the grills that were carried by Lowes and Home Depot but none of the seemed to be built as well as the Crown 2 I had. I finally saw that I could order a Crown 20 on Amazon. It took a while to receive the grill but it was worth the wait. The grill is built solid and looks great as well. I've had the grill a couple weeks and have cooked out almost every evening. So far I've cooked chicken, steak, shrimp and hamburgers and everything has turned out great.

I would recommend this grill to any one looking for a well built grill that will last and cooks great food.

I am a woman that is handy but I was really concerned about putting this grill together by myself. That is why I want to let you know it's so easy! It took about an hour and I was able to do it alone. Just make sure to follow directions for all the screws(8 or so) that are on the bottom that attach the wheel floor to the cart base. It also really helps to have a multi position torque wrench. I think I used the 1/2. But it is not necessary. I also notice that it will be very easy to change out any parts in the future. There are so many options for the cooking grids. You can use them in a variety of ways. The flame is strong and on a very cool night it heated to 700 degree's in less than 10 minutes. My first dish, first a steak then made into steak quesadilla's with all items grilled. They came out perfect. YOU WILL LOVE this grill. Especially great if you have a small space to work with. Drop down shelves. I wanted a Weber but no room, to big. I know I am going to be just as happy with this grill.

I did a decent amount of research before selecting this Broil King. The grills i saw at local warehouse stores didn't have the same build quality or cast iron grates for the same price (@$350).

True, the "20" means 2 burners instead of 4, but the grilling surface is still more than adequate, and the grill gets PLENTY hot in short time. I cooked about 8 burgers and 8 pieces of chicken at the same time, and still had a decent amount of room on the main surface.

We had a half dozen friends over for a bbq last weekend & I got several different "nice looking grill man" comments from attendees at different times during the party.

Overall I am very pleased, and just hope the build quality stems to a long lasting grill for me and my family!

this grill does have high quality burners and is easy to assembly
I do think the shelves on the side are poor, one would not want
to put much wieght on them, they are shaky, but the grill itself
is high quality and cooks excellent. Great burner control and
minimal flare ups, comes with a cool cook book too!

I did a ton of research and one of two common names kept coming up when it came to quality...Broil King and Weber. Since there was a better, more competitive price on the Broil King it became a no-brainer. I did not make a wrong decision. It was delivered as promised (very timely) and assembly was somewhat difficult at times, the overall process went smooth. Mostly due to some confusion in the directions and my interpertation. Some may have it go easier and some maybe not. After the assembly was finished, I just couldn't believe the quality I was starring at. This was confirmed by guests at different times with comments like..."Wow, NICE grill!"

End result...a FANTASTIC grilling experience. The grill ignites immediatly and easily and heats up in quick fashion. I had a Weber Charcoal grill before this one and I find cooking times to be very similar in a lot of situations. Now there is no messy ash to clean up. The charcoal did add a hint more of that flavor but I don't miss it. This grill puts out. Clean-up is easy and I hope 3 years from now, the cover I purchased to prevent corosion with it, will provide me many more years of grilling experiences.

I did a lot of research and kept coming back to the Broil King grills vs Weber grills. I bought this grill b/c of the low price on Amazon, couldn't come close to this price for the low-end Weber grills. The grill took about 1.5 hours to put together; the instructions weren't bad, but you have to work off of pictures only.

The grill is made of high-quality parts, particularly the oven, burners and grates. I couldn't find another grill with a high grade aluminum oven, stainless steel burner, and cast iron grates at this price. Grill gets extremely hot, and even though I'm still getting used to the heat, the grill has been easy to adjust to and it cooks great. This grill has plenty of space and cooks evenly, and I've found the side shelves are more than sturdy for what I'm placing on them. Very impressed, this is a good buy.
