4.0 out of 5 stars First Production... So Good So Far!
Well, yes as the title states, it is their first widely available production, and it has 3 of their hits (No Quiere Novio,Pasarela,Sexo En La Playa)along with 18 new songs that are sure to make you stand up and dance.

3.0 out of 5 stars Dalmata is good
Dalmata is awesome, Nejo sucks. Nejo has always sucked and he ruins every song. Nejo's lyrics are just whack he sounds like a beginner rapper. Dalmata has always been good, but not great. I would have loved to hear Dalmata with a solo album with a few feat. tracks

They are a good change from normal reggaeton, with bold lyrics, different voices (Hear Dalmata) and funky beats, that are nicely produced to make you enjoy this music whether you are in the Club, or just chilling in your house.

It has 21 songs, and if you want it simplified, Nejo is the hip-hop, Dalmata is the Reggaeton.

Best Of Both Worlds if you ask me.

5.0 out of 5 stars My Day Isn't Complete Without It, February 25, 2009
This review is from: Broke & Famous (Audio CD)
Honestly, I haven't taken any Spanish classes since the third grade so much of the lyrics are lost on me. I stumbled across Dalmata by mistake and decided to give his music a listen. Needless to say, I was completely bowled over by what I heard-language doesn't matter to me so long as the presentation catches my attention.

Both men's voices, Nejo and Dalmata, are attractive and unforgettable. The first song I heard from the two was Esa Nena; I had to hear more. I even went so far as to look into Wikipedia for more information on them since music stores in this area had no idea who they were.

Finally, after a lot of frustration and the need to own at least one album by them and not a compilation I learned of Broke and Famous. If you purchase this cd-the music encompasses so many genres-you will not be disappointed. It's slow and sexy to upbeat and in your face.

The vocal "hopscotch" between singers and beats and lyrics is cleverly arranged as well ("Se Va, Se Va" sung by Dalmata for instance and "Yo Quisiera" performed by Nejo) showcases their capabilities very well.

This album and anything featuring Nejo and Dalmata is a must listen and must see.

5.0 out of 5 stars Definately a classic, July 1, 2008

It may not please Reggaeton purists (either would Tony Dize's CD or Wisin Y Yandel's new one for that matter) but it is one of the best cds I own.

Production is bold and original and not stuck with any one type of style, so if you like more than just one type of music but love your music to have a good beat and good flow then pick it up. Even my wife who thinks reggaeton is dirty likes it.

5.0 out of 5 stars If you are thinking about buuying it, DO IT!, April 10, 2008

This cd is hands down top 3 ever in the reggaeton genre. Both artist are not mainstream, but they made some great music together and not just beats, the lyrics are extremely well written as well. I am from Puerto Rico and love the genre, but I have also shared Nejo's and Dalmata's music with a bunch of American friends and there has not been a single one yet that has not liked it. Even if you don't know what they are saying, the rhythm speaks for it self. Don't look around no more...this IS the cd you want!

5.0 out of 5 stars Revolutionary, February 28, 2008

All I can say is that this is an incredible evolution for the Reggaeton movement. Nejo and Dalmata give us a musical jewel, fusing Reggaeton with hip-hip and all kinds of musical genres. It is easy to listen to and just plain fun. These men are making history, and with collaboration from Arcangel, Danny Fornaris, Nely, Chyno Nyno, and other reggaeton notables, this album is a keeper. It is NOT your usual reggaeton CD, it is revolutionary. I hope these two make tons of money off of this CD. They work wonderfully together.
