5.0 out of 5 stars Phenomenal!
I have one word for this soundtrack: MERCY!!! This soundtrack is so phenomenal. I love all of the songs and all of the artists showcased, but I'd like to mention a few of the artists that truly stood out to me. Miss Lindsey Haun is probably one of the most talented singers I've heard since Carrie Underwood won American Idol. I am looking forward to Lindsey's debut album...

3.0 out of 5 stars nice but not exiting
I,ve got used to Toby Keiths strong delivery and this album though well produced and very clear to listen to, it does not not have the ooomph I,m used to. However I shall get the next solo album and trust that we shall get a little more rock/country.

I am looking forward to Lindsey's debut album. Then there is Scotty Emerick. I always enjoy listening to him sing. Matraca Berg and Sonja Isaacs deliver powerful performances on their tracks. And, last but not least, Toby! I just can't say enough about how impressed I was by his performances on the soundtrack. It is with this soundtrack that Toby shows why he's had such a long and successful career in music. His voice is so versatile and completely amazing! (And, so is his songwriting abililty.) I especially loved his part in the song "Uncloudy Day". He sang it so exceptionally well that I cannot listen to it enough!

I highly recommend this album to everyone! It really is a truly amazing album.

5.0 out of 5 stars Loving Broken Bridges, December 28, 2006
This review is from: Broken Bridges (Audio CD)
I could hardly wait for the cd to be released. It was even better that I thought it would be. It's so hard for me to pic favorite songs here. But Broken Bridges is a song that really touched my heart. I don't know of anyone who can't relate to the lyrics, just as in the lyrics to Broken. This cd can make you laugh and make you cry, it can make you take a long hard look at your own life and the choices you've made.

5.0 out of 5 stars It's all good!!!!, September 2, 2006
This review is from: Broken Bridges (Audio CD)
Toby Keith may be setting up to showcase his acting talent, but he has really outdone himself with the soundtrack for the upcoming movie. The fourteen tracks included on the cd send the mind and soul through many emotions. Lindsey Haun (who plays Keith's daughter in the upcoming film) shows off a voice that evokes so many emotions with "Broken", Keith himself does not disappoint with when he duets with Haun on the movie's theme song "Broken Bridges".

Also included in this amazing musical collection are songs preformed by Matraca Berg, Flynnville Train, Fred Eaglesmith, Sonya Isaacs and Poor Richard's Hound. The legendary Willie Nelson and Bebe Winans join with Keith for an incredible redition of "Uncloudy Day", that will just blow you away.

Toby Keith does not dissappoint his long time fans with this latest offering. From the romantic "Crash Here Tonight" to the upbeat "Big Bull Rider", this is one cd that has a little something for everyone's musical taste.

You will not be dissappointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful soundtrack, August 29, 2006
This review is from: Broken Bridges (Audio CD)
Included on this album are tracks by country veterans and some new comers. "Uncloudy Day" features Willie Nelson, Toby Keith and BeBe Winnans and will be appreciated by long time country fans. Toby Keith doesn't disappoint with new music including "Zig Zag Stop" and some tunes from past albums including the gentle ballad, "Crash Here Tonight" and the fun "Jacky Don Tucker".

New comer Lindsey Haun shines with her song "Broken" and in the brilliant duet with Keith, "Broken Bridges". I'm sure we will be seeing more from Haun as she has been signed to Keith's ShowDog label and has been featured on his recent tour.

This is one soundtrack that shouldn't be missed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Broken Bridges Is An Awesome Soundtrack, November 9, 2006
This review is from: Broken Bridges (Audio CD)
Broken Bridges is the best soundtrack I have ever listened to. I absolutely love all of Toby's tracks. I have been to several Toby concerts this year and he opens the concerts with Big Bull Rider. That song rocks. Crash Here Tonight and Can't Go Back are beautiful songs. His voice just keeps getting better and better. Lindsey Haun's voice is so powerful on Broken and her duet with Toby on Broken Bridges, I have listened to over and over. Their voices together on that song sound magical to me. Uncloudy Day with Toby, Willie Nelson & Bebe Winans is great. It reminds me of the old gospel songs my grandmother used to listen to. I love High on the Mountain by Flynnville Train. I think they are going to be very successful in the future. I have always been a big fan of Scotty Emerick and his music. I think What's Up With That is a great song with a great beat. Scotty is a really talented singer/songwriter. I would highly recommend that you go out and buy the Broken Bridges soundtrack. You will sure be glad that you did. I bought two - one for the house and one for the car. This is a great cd to add to your collection. TKIFC-sweetdonna53

I'm not one for soundtracks but this cd stands on it's own. Toby's duet with Lindsey is chilling. It is done so well you get goose bumps. Then you have the sincere songs and those that make you laugh. I love the whole cd. So many emotions go through you, you can't help but go with them on their journeys. As though they are part of your life too. The Big Dog did it again. Toby you never let your fans down. Thank you for one of the best cd's out there.

If your not sure you will enjoy country music or even say your not into country, you have to give this a try. You will see what all the talk is about and why so many people enjoy country. This cd gives you so many different sounds you can't help but play it over and over and over again..pewh151, TKIFC

5.0 out of 5 stars Worth every penny!!!, August 31, 2006
This review is from: Broken Bridges (Audio CD)
This is what a soundtrack should be. Full of great songs with full relevance to the film. One should just set aside all political prejudices let the music do the talking, this is one you'll be able to listen to over and over again for a long time. Between Toby, Willie, Scotty Emerick and Matraca Berg you just can't go wrong! And I agree with Bette, Lindsey Hauns "Broken" is deservant of an Oscar nomination, it's that good!
