I've done a lot of research and chlorella is the most amazing food/suppliment out there. When I took this product for the first time, I had been sick for months, I had a very bad sinus infection. Well when I took the recommended dose which is 3 tablets twice daily, I got 100% better overnight! I havn't been sick ever since and its been months. This product is so amazing because I notice more benefits from it than a multivitamin. I actually stopped taking multivitamins and this is the healthiest I've ever been. The swanson chlorella brand is also very good quality and for a really good price, so I recommend ot to anyone looking to improve their health.

The only con about this product is that its hard to swallow the tablets without water untill you get use to them.

The Swanson Broken Cell Wall Chlorella 500 mg is an excellent supplement. I use it in conjunction with spriulina from the same seller. The two products work well together. They work much better than the daily vitamins we were taking from Puritan's Pride. We got results within one week of taking these; after years of taking the multiple vitamins from P.P., we were still feeling dull. And what really gets me is that these supplements cost so much less than the ones we were buying from P.P. I will never buy daily multiple vitamins from P.P. again; from now on I am sticking with Swanson's Broken Cell Wall Chlorella and spirulina. There other supplements have been very satisfying as well(brewer's yeast, dual ginseng plus, maca, iron complex, st. john's wort, gaba, and gotu kola).

I have used this Broken Cell Chlorella, and found it to be of good quality, fresh, and shipped without damage. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to supplement their diet with Chlorella.

I do not buy any product that contains magnesium stearate. It is very bad for your colon. MANY vitamins have this added ingredient, including this one. There are plenty of Sun Chlorella companies out there that do not add this ingredient. Try to avoid it if you can. Other types of magnesium are ok...it's just the stearate we need to avoid. It leaves a thin, mucusy coating along your colon walls leaving it very difficult to absorb nutrients from food and vitamins. Google it and you'll find the truth! Good luck :)

I bought this product due to low energy, and fatigue issues (especially in the afternoon hours before getting off work at 5pm, or as I like to call it, "The Dead Zone", LOL).

there is a energy benefit you will receive, but you must take the pills CONSISTENTLY. By that, I mean 2 pills in the morning, 2 in the afternoon, and 2 in the evening. These pills are quickly metabolized and burned by the body, so you have to take them throughout the day; otherwise, there's no benefit (at least that was the case with me). If I missed a dose, or forgot to take them for a day or two, the fatigue would return.

again, this product is helpful (as a mild and safe energy boost) if you take it consistently. Also, the price is good (I recommend all Swanson products).

This is the best deal I've found on Broken Cell Wall Chlorella. It is a better price even than buying direct from Swanson. If you are looking at this product you know it's benefits and that it is truly a must-have supplement.

I have but one concern and that is quality control. The first bottle I got was direct from Swanson. The pills were dark green and seemed very potent. Then I found them for a better price on Amazon. However, the batch I received from Amazon was a light color and seems like it may not be quite as potent. I do not detect the fishy aftertaste another reviewer mentioned.

All in all a good deal, if you get a good batch. A pricier yet higher quality alternative that I have tried and recommend is Kyoto Chlorella 200 mg 1500 Tabs.

I had been using another brand of chlorella for some time with very good results; however, the cost was quite high, so I was looking for an alternative. I read the positive reviews for Swanson chlorella, so I thought I could save myself some money and I ordered some. I was very disappointed by the smell of the product. It almost smells fishy. I took it anyway, and my health condition seemed to deteriorate quickly; I felt fatigued and my joints began to ache. I switched back to the more expensive brand earlier last week. I can tell the difference in quality as soon as I open the package. I will not buy Swanson chlorella again. The cost savings are not worth the reduction in quality.
