Thsi book was the best! All of the suspense and caring in it made it a blst to read, even though Eve was abused--but the Saddle Club--especially Lisa--helps her! This is an extremely good and important book, showing that if you just have faith things will most likely work out well! Also, for those of you who are wondering, this IS a CHRISTMAS BOOK. I myself was once saying, "it's too bad that now there are only three Saddle Club books about Christmas(STARLGIHT CHRISTMAS, WESTERN STAR, and CHRISTMAS TREASURE)." But there is THIS book that is a Christmas one, too! Now I know most of you are probably think, "When will Lisa lead the Starlight Ride?" Well, I'm just going to assume she led it on the Christmas Even in this book, even though there isn't a Starlight ride in this boo. Either that, Or Bonnie Bryant is just waiting for later in the series for Lisa to lead the ride. She deserves to! She's learned and improved a lot, plus she took care of Eve! Anyway, this is a GREAT book! PLEASE, GO READ IT A.S.A.P.!

The Author of all Saddle Club books, Bonnie Bryant,has also writen many young adult novels. When Eve, an abused horse, is rescued by Carole, Stevie, and Lisa, no one but Lisa thinks that she will survive. She seems to be getting better but has a turn for the wurst!! I can't tell you any more you'll have to read it yourself!! But I'm sure you'll just love the warmth and caring that this book brings to your mind. I sure did!

I love all the Saddle Club Books, and this one is among my favourites. It's a extremely sad tale of an abused horse, found by the Saddle Club. Lisa Atwwod cares for the horse, as if it was her own. But the main question is....Will this horse find the will to live? It's upto Lisa and the rest of the Saddle Club to determine that. This book is a real 'Cliffhanger,' so if you like excitement, and adventures....BUY THIS BOOK!!!!!

I thought this book was really heart warming. It really showed determination and love for a horse. I think Broken Horse is one of the best books in series.

This book is awesome! I hope Lisa buys Eve! They are perfect together! My favorite part is when Eve takes the comb out of Lisa's hand! I laughed really hard! There is a horse at the stable where I ride, Rosebank, who acts exactly the same! He loves to chew on things! Just the other day, I was putting his halter on and he grabbed it and would NOT give it back! Then he wouldn't drop his bit after class when I was untacking him! It just made me think of the book! I love Saddle Clubs!!

While hiking and taking nature photos for a school project, Lisa
stumbles across a badly abused horse in a paddock. She, Carole and Stevie call the local animal rescue league who impounds the mare. As the mare dislikes men, Lisa assumes most of the care for her. This is a very poignant tale, and I won't give away the ending.

This is the most beautiful Saddle Club book yet. It shows how important love is naturally, as ALOT of books do, but it also shows how important it is to be willing and brave to let yourself love totaly. Lisa risked alot of saddness if Eve would have died, but it wasn't until she named Eve and let herself be vulnerable to the saddness of losing her that Eve started to realize Lisa cared and look forward to life.
The part with the brush was my favorite, like one reader said before. It was the first time Eve showed any sign of wanting to live.
I know Lisa loves Prancer, but Eve and her seem like such a perfect match.

I loved this book and I love all of Bonnie Bryants other books.this is a MUST by book. But the book is very sad so if you don't like reading about abused horses then don't read it .

an abused horse Lisa finds in a small, dirty corral at a farm whose owner is away.The horse reminds her of Sal, another horse that was abused but died.The horse gets to come to Pine Hollow where Lisa cares for the hore until it trusts people again.Then Lisa names it Eve.This is a really good book and I stongly recomend it.So BUY THIS BOOK!

When Lisa, Carole, and Stevie find this horse it is in bad health and lost its spirit! Lisa, tries everything for Eve to be interested in life again, but.....will she? A MUST READ...especially if you are looking into working at an animal rescue area- like me!
