An interesting side trip...,
This review is from: House Season 6 (Amazon Instant Video)
House takes a side trip this season, and it works for me. While he is out of the hospital setting, he can stretch his House persona for several episodes outside of his comfort zone. An interesting spin on this series; fans will appreciate this. Nuff said; no spoilers here!

This review is from: House Season 6 (Amazon Instant Video)
I have been a huge House fan since it first aired many years ago. Over the years I have come to love the cast of the show, especially House. The creators of House have always managed to keep me wanting more, the start of the sixth season being no different. Before season six aired, I worried that they might try to keep Amber and Kutner around as House's mental sidekicks. After watching the first episode, I was glad to see that Amber and Kutner were not part of the cast, but now I wonder if too much has changed. I'm sure it will change later in the season, but other than a brief scene with Wilson on the phone, none of the old cast is present. I would have thought that Cuddy would have at least made a brief appearance. However, House is who he is, and it is rather funny to watch him interact with the other patients. It is suprising and a little disturbing to find House being outsmarted by his psychiatrist on more than one occasion. While it is fun to see House and another patient, who believes he can fly, soaring high above a simulated skydiving ride, they ended the show with House nearly killing him and admitting that he needs help. While I am anxious to watch the second half of this episode I can't help but hope that the creators of House get him back to his pill popping, leg hurting, smartass self soon.
