5.0 out of 5 stars Broken Rocks!
This is absolutely THE song to listen to. Seether is an awesome and incredibly talented rock band that doesn't get as much praise as they should. They teamed up with Amy Lee from Evanescence (by far and away THE best rock band EVER!) to sing this incredibly wonderful rock ballad. This is my absolute favorite song right now and probably will be for some time. It's just one...

2.0 out of 5 stars Ruined by Amy Lee
This song originally was amazing, just by Seether alone. Bringing Amy Lee into the picture makes the song sound so much worse, because her voice always sounds the same and makes the song sound way worse than the original.

I am very much so looking forward to both bands followup albums!

5.0 out of 5 stars Broken is a fantastic song, November 9, 2004

Broken is an awesome song. It's a collaboration between Seether and Amy Lee from Evanasance. It's a well written, played, and sung song. This also happens to be the only other way of getting it if you don't buy the Punisher soundtrack.

Amy Lee has the best vocals in Rock right now. I love hearing this woman sing. It's a shame that Moody left there band and that they are on hold right now. Despite that she made herself another hit with this song. I love it when her and the lead guy from Seether are singing the chorus together. Duets aren't something we see enough of anymore in Rock.

The song is just awesome. It's hard and soft in all the right places. It's gotten a ton of Radio play and Video play. Rightfully so because this song should of.

If you like Seether or Evanasance you won't regret picking this one up. It's a great song.

5.0 out of 5 stars Break more tracks, April 27, 2005
This review is from: Broken (Audio CD)
Amy Lee and Seether make an excellent duo, and the vocals of Amy Lee and Shaun Morgan together, with incredible drums in the background, create an incredible rock sound. The infectious rock sound and tunes in the song make it eveything someone would expect from Seether and Evanescence's singer, Amy Lee.

Perhaps because Amy Lee and Shaun Morgan are dating perhaps it is a sign we may see more excellent duo's, or perhaps even, a duo album - imagine 'Fallen' and 'Karma and Effect' as one album. Brilliant guitars, drums, vocals, the whole package.

This single is definitely worth the money, so be prepared to reward your ears with no doubt, one of the best rock songs currently selling.

4.0 out of 5 stars More Videos, September 16, 2005
This review is from: Broken (Audio CD)
This single should be an example for all other singles, I was looking for the seether song "Broken" for a long time and finally I heard that a single was coming out. this CD also comes with a high quality video of the song (BIG BONUS), there are some other seether songs included on this CD but if you want more seether songs you may as well buy an album.

5.0 out of 5 stars 6 Stars Really..., November 26, 2004

I agree with everyone below. I was just listening to internet radio today at work and heard this song for the first time. I paused it halfway and bought the CD immediately. There are only a few random few songs that REALLY get to you when you first hear it, and this one did. I have watched the video on seether.com about 5 times tonight at full blast. Amazing, I get chills when I hear it!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Sooo cool, now rock bands are talking, July 1, 2005
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Broken (Audio CD)
Hi, I heard this song on-line (...) and I had to listen to it at least 7 times! I then heard it on the radio and I jumped, that one girl who said something about how Amy and Seather got together, well, it's true! Ok, you're thinking I'm just a kid, no one should listen to me, well, now it's time to!
This is the best song Amy did with someone else, she did do a song with Big Dismal called Missing You, that song is good, but this song is WAY better.
When Evanescence first came out, I got the album, Anyway, I love this song, and whoever said that us kids are sick that we think that stuff like this is awesome is lame, well, back off!
At least we have good taste in music, unlike you, who obviously
likes stupid pop stars. So stop making us think that pop stars are cool, when they are NOT! Keep thoughts like that to yourself.
Sorry, I just felt like doing that. Anyway, I love this song more and more every day.
Important - Amy Lee and Evanescence fans - the new Evanescence album will be out aroud the 5th of November, I know alot of stuff, so if anyone has questions, remember, (..), and I have lots of news, so write a review on any Evanescence thing, and you can ask a question, I'll give you the answer. Thank you, please, stop letting adults make things lame for us kids, 'cause then nothing is fun, I'm not saying that every review you write has to say happy happy joy joy, just don't make things make our day and other adults feel sad, or make our day feel as crappy as much as you can.

5.0 out of 5 stars best rock duet since..., December 15, 2004
This review is from: Broken (Audio CD)
"Broken" is the greatest rock duet since Meatloaf and Patti Russo did "Anything for Love" (remember that one?). There's pretty much nothing that stands out in my mind as a great, mind-blowing male/female vocal duet between that in 1991 and now in 2004, when Amy and Seether shattered that with Broken. It is easily some of the most impressive heavy-rock vocal work of all time.

5.0 out of 5 stars ..That was unexpected!, November 20, 2004
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Broken (Audio CD)
Amy Lee isn't the kind of singer you'd think would be in a duet, now is she? Apparently she is, and she's as good at it as she is alone.
The first time I heard this song was at a friend's house at 3 in the morning. You just know Amy's voice when you hear it, so I literally ran over to the TV and listened closer. Who was that other guy?
Next day. TV, I hear it. With the video. I swear I haven't been able to get it out of my head since then. The video creeps me a bit though, looks like someone just bombed the place.. Anyway, beautiful video, nice contrast between the voices, Five stars.

-Something I've noticed. Nobody commented on Seether. It's all about Amy. You got it people. You got it going for ya. x3

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful, beautiful song.,, November 13, 2004
This review is from: Broken (Audio CD)
The first time I've heard this song on the radio, I was amazed. This song features Seether and Amy Lee from Evanescence, two great singers. This is the perfect follow-up to Evanescence's other single "My Immortal." Amy Lee's clear voice with Seether's raspier voice makes a beautiful contrast. It's a perfect duet. It's like the only good song that is playing on the radio at the moment.

I highly recommend this single if you're a big fan of Amy Lee or Seether and if you haven't already gotten "Fallen" by Evanescence I highly recommend it. I bought the CD when it first came out and I'm listening to it every day!

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Broken (Audio CD)
Naturally ordering unseen product on-line makes me a little nervous. This was one of the first items I've purchased from this site and I was pleasantly surprised. The item was fairly priced and offered free shipping. My order was processed quickly and arrive in a decent amount time. The items were well packaged and well respresented on the site. I received exactly what I was expecting. I've been using the CD for about a month now and haven't had any trouble playing it. I'm very satisfied with the product and the service with which it was provided!
