Nancy Leigh DeMoss has truly been led by God in writing this book. She simplifies the concepts of being broken before the Lord, being set-apart, and willingly accepting God's will over your own. It is simple to understand but deep at the same time. She thoroughly covers these subjects and presents them in such a way that it really affects the heart. If you are seeking to be closer to the Lord, READ THIS BOOK!! 'Holiness' was my favorite.

Prior to reading this book, God revealed to me I was in a season of brokenness. I wanted to know as much as I could about being broken. After reading the first couple of pages, I knew He had led me to Brokenness, Surrender and Holiness. It was really more than I bargained for. Words can't describe how awesome this book is. The book is deep and yet simple to understand; as DeMoss uses biblical stories, analogies, personal situations, and self reflection questions. It will cause you to look in the mirror at yourself but also bring you to a higher level. This book is a MUST read for all Christian women: single or married. It will change/deepen your outlook of/toward attitudes, self, worship, ministry, relationships, God etc. It would work well with a women study group or book club!

This is a great book because it combines the trilogy in one helpful volume. The study guide quesitons are great for personal introspection or for small group Bible study. An excellent value for the buck!

If you've ever been serious about living the "surrendered life", but have never understood what that involves, this book is a huge help!

I read these books at a time I was devastated. God used them to show me how even in that moment I was still in His hand, He was still in control and I was not a victim. Nancy Leigh Demoss does an excellent job of taking the reader to a place of willingness and eagerness to be broken before the Lord, of desiring to surrender the sins and yearn for holiness, as well as understanding that holiness is possible. She incorporates real life stories, has a simple non-preachy style and still uses lots of scripture so it is obvious it is not just her opinion. Easily read book, harder to implement in life because they describe a total change of thoughts, heart motives and actions. My life is forever changed!

This book is life changing. We are going through it in Sunday school and I love it. Came faster than it said that it would. Very happy with the condition also. Not a dog eared page in sight.

I was led by The Holy Spirit to get this book a little while after He put Romans 12:1 - "Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship" very heavily on my heart. I heard about her talking about it on the radio and it was part of a series she was doing at the time (obviously not coincidence!). Let me tell you that it is very evident that The Lord was flowing through Nancy while she wrote this book. I have so far read the Surrender and Holiness sections and they have opened my eyes in a way that The Lord only can. It's not been easy, I've been stubborn but God is sanctifying me and molding me as every day goes by. I just want to thank Nancy for being an obedient bond servant of Christ and writing these books. To God be all the glory.

I accepted Christ as my Savior and was baptised over 34 years ago. During the process of reading this inspired book I realized how necessary it is to surrender my body, my mind, and my will to the Lord if I truly want to enjoy God's salvation the way He desires. I've read many books on this subject and I have to say that this book made the most spiritual impact on my life. If someone wants to understand brokenness, surrender, and holiness in a more profound and deeper way I would recommend they read this book.

I've been chewing on this book for several weeks now. As I prayerfully read it I am being released from areas of hardness/rebellion into a place of surrender and peace that I've not known in my 15yr walk with Christ. I'm finding that I'm kinder to myself and others through the brokenness and surrender that has been applied to my heart.

Excellent content. However, I would enjoy this product better if the study questions came immediately after the chapter. During bible study, i have to use a lot of post-it flags to mark the pages of the chapter and the study section. Because the book has a lot of pages, I have to find something heavy to hold down one side of the book. It just really gets akward and difficult to manage with ease.
