It was a breeze to install, love the heater for the water, but it is June, let's see how well it works in January here in Wisconsin. Pressure is adequate, it feels like it's a pretty good quality unit. Buuuuuuut......The hole is small as was noted by another reviewer. I'm not a small person, and I was used to the standard elongated seat. Now a certain part of my anatomy is touching the underside of the front of the seat, something I really don't consider sanitary.

The main reason for purchasing this is my brother, who is bigger than me. He has a handicap, and I thought this would be helpful for him. Wonder if he'll fit?? It may be for good watching on Youtube! Just kidding, put the popcorn away.

This product for it's price cannot be matched.

Pros: Easy to install, remote control, nice features

Cons: Hole is small (not tiny but noticeably small). I have not had any issues with the hole size personally, but a big boy/girl may.

After a couple trips to Japan, this was maybe the one thing I missed the most upon returning home (ok, not really, but sort of). These seats are literally almost everywhere you go (public and private restrooms alike), yet are almost non-existent in the States. Sure, some fancy-shmancy places here may have the traditional French style bidet, and I once had a bathroom equipped with one, but this just can't compare.

When I was in Japan for the first time about 15 years ago, some places (including Narita airport) still had holes in the floor in the bathroom. The bidet style seats had started to catch on, but by the time I went back recently, they're essentially the norm. Japan basically went from crawling to running over a decade, and we're still wiping our butts with paper. Think about it. If you're outside and step in dog crap, would you just walk inside, wipe it off with a paper towel and call it clean? I don't think so (if you would, you're not welcome in my house).

Granted, those bathroom wipes have come out "for a cleaner clean", but even they can't even compare. Toilet paper becomes almost obsolete (you'll need a little pat dry after the wash), and I rarely buy it anymore. This is good for your pipes, septic tanks, the environment AND your wallet. From my calculations, this will pay for itself within a couple years in my house.

The seat has great features for being the cheapest hot-water seat on the market. Three seat temperatures for those colder mornings, three water temps, variable water pressure, wireless remote, no-slam seat and cover, self-cleaning nozzles and even a front wash for the ladies. Installation took me about 20 minutes (make sure the bottom bracket is lined up correctly the first time and save yourself some hassle).

The Good: Almost all of the features of more expensive Bidet seats, just as advertised in the product description at only $250!

The Bad: Bulky. Reduced toilet diameter. No precise adjustment of spray nozzles.

I give this product 5 stars for its great performance. It works pretty much exactly like the Toto brand bidets that won me over in Japan.

Other reviews have commented on weak water pressure, but I disagree with this and suggest maybe there is a kink in their lines or that their base water pressure might be low.

Of course things can't be perfect when you see how much less this costs than some premiere models, for instance:

The seat is very large and makes your toilet look pretty intimidating, especially with the extra hose and wires. Fancier models might be more compact, but I'm not sure about that.

The diameter of the toilet with the seat down IS reduced, which might affect how comfortable some bottoms are on the seat.

The nozzles cannot be tweaked, so you might find yourself wiggling a little bit to get it right.

Even considering those faults, though, I'm still comfortable giving this product 5 stars. If those gripes would bother you too much, then you might want to spring for a fancier model.

Perfect for my need. Water Pressure is Just right, Super easy to install, and setup. The nozzle length works for me, so no real need to spend extra to get the adjustable nozzle. Looks imposing and might scare people who are not used to it. So think before installing it in the guest bathroom.

** Update after two months of usage:
- Supply line broke and made a huge mess in the bathroom - cheapo plastic, went looking for replacement, and Brondell wanted 35 bux, found a 1/2in to 1/2in line in Home Depot for 6 bux, much better quality.
- The supply could have been placed under the seat, and could have been a bit better on the stress on the connections.
- The unit itself is very good, no complaints there. I am going to leave the 5 Star.
If your supply line broke or starts leaking consider this
