my wife and i bought a swash a few months ago. the bidet washes are effective and easy to use. the heated seat is also a nice touch! only drawback is that it requires electricity (we decided to put in a new outlet) but well worth it

This thing work as advertised, I just wish they had put a little more thought into the design. Because this is a round seat, there isn't a lot of real estate to begin with, so when there is the huge hump on the back of the seat (containing all the "stuff") it makes the seat pretty uncomfortable. Basically, my back is right up against the hump and I feel like I am being pushed forward. I have seen other models that work as well but are a lot slimmer, so I think they could have minimized the size a little better, or at least pushed the stuff back a little further. If I had it to do over again, I would replace my toilet with an elongated bowl and get the elongated version of this seat. Like I said though, mechanically it works great.

I purchased a Brondell toilet seat 18 months ago. Scott, the owner of the company, offered me a smoking deal. I had never used this type of seat, but thought the deal justified a trial of the product.


The seat is awesome! I love the heated seat and water, fast drying fan and easy-to-use control pad. I always feel clean, like saving toilet paper (& the environment) and no longer suffer from rashes on my butt (sorry for the info). The seat was also easy-to-install so you don't have to be a plumber.

I highly suggest you try the seat.

This Luxury Toilet Seat offers cleanness and warmth to all the people.
Because this product is bought, it satisfies it very much.
The only problem is that the size is only a little small.

It's not the kind of purchase you announce to your friends you've made....but it's one of the best things I've bought in a long time.

No more irritating multiple toilet paper swipes that sometimes never seem to come away clean. Being a guy, I only use the posterior jet which is more like a small but powerful stream than a spray which only seems to get the area around the "bullseye" wet. Then a single pat dry with toilet paper that always comes away clean! And I'm off!

Complaints? I don't use the seat heater at all as I think it's got to be a power sucker. The water heater is something I only use in winter for the same reason and then I turn it off after each use otherwise it would remain on using too much electricity. Most of the time plain cold tap water feels just fine.

My wife and I have separate bathrooms. Or should I say had separate bathrooms as she's often in mine because she just loves the Swash too.

Update: It's June 2010 and I've owned this for over 2 years now. We love it; it's indispensable. Absolutely no problems with it. If ever conked out, I wouldn't hesitate to replace it with another one just like it.

One could not imagine what a relief it is to have the elevation but also the warmth of this toilet seat! My hip bones cannot thank you enough. THEN to be able to clean yourself, it is wonderful.

Good for people having small kids. Can use without messing the surrounding of the toilet

I love this product. I'll never go back to the old fashion way.I've had it for about a year now and it works perfectly.

This seat is somewhat disapointing, The sitting area toward the back of the seat is slopped up higher so when seated you are forced to lean forward. The seat itself is not flat, it is rounded and narrow adding to discomfort. The wash wand does not come out far enough so with every wash, water is splshed on the back of the seat and needs to be wiped up. Must set power saving feature daily instead of set and forget. The unit does wash well and the water comes out warm.

This toilet seat works well. The problem is that the mechanics of the seat are located in the rear part of the seat in a large awkward "bubble." This bubble causes the seat opening to be smaller than normal toilet seats. This smallness can cause an uncomfortable feeling to the user.
