4.0 out of 5 stars I actually like it, except....
...for the stingy sensation that you feel upon application. The bottle actually warns of this and it is due to the citrus products (lemon and orange) contained within.
Other than that I have no complaints...as this product was recommended by my loctician and I needed a conditioning rinse. Left my hair shiny and my locks felt very light upon drying.

3.0 out of 5 stars Works but stinks
Let me start by saying that I love Dr. Bronners products. I have mixed feelings however about this conditioning rinse. I bought it b/c I wanted to use Dr. Bronner's castille soap as a shampoo but needed something to condition. I bought this b/c is is organic and got good reviews. What I like about it is that it does work. I can only use one capful though as I have...

I use the Dr. Bronner's shampoo's so I knew this would be a pretty good product.

I can only use one capful though as I have straight fly away hair and more than one capful leaves a film. What I don't like is the smell...ick! It has a strong citrus smell and almost made me gag. Once dilluted in a cup of water it gets better but your hair smells even after you rinse. Once I towel dry my hair I put in Dr. Bronner's hair creame (lavender and coconut) and that makes my hair smell good again. Another down side is that it kinda burns as it runs down your skin when pouring it in your hair. I recommend pouring it in with your head forward vs. looking up. This keeps it off your skin. Overall, it works but stinks. Some people like the smell so this is just my opinion.

1.0 out of 5 stars Didn't do a thing for me, January 3, 2012

This review is from: Dr. Bronner's Shikakai Citrus Hair Conditioning Rinse 8 oz conditioner (Health and Beauty)
I really wanted to like this product but I am sorry it didn't work out for me. My hair after washing it out was difficult to manage and didn't feel so at all. Plus it was way too much work mixing a capful with a cup of water. I have been using natural products with my personal care and do enjoy using Dr. Bronner's for as a shampoo but this product was the worse. The smell was unbearable and boy the other reviewers were right the smell lingers and lingers and lingers. I am going back to my Trader Joe's Tea Tree Tingle and my Giovanni Conditoners after using Dr. Bronner's Castille soap

5.0 out of 5 stars helps my frizzy hair, October 20, 2011

I use this product along with the shampoo and hair creme. All I can say is that it works for my frizzy hair so that my hair no longer sticks out like a tumble bush.
I used to have straight hair and had no problems with frizzy hair, but with aging and who knows what(I'm 65 years), my hair is now dry and frizzy. After using Dr Bronners shampoo (the one for babies), this conditioning rinse and the hair creme, my hair is not a frizzy mess any more)
This conditioning hair rinse smells okay to me, but I do have a nose that is usually stuffy and can't smell too well.
I love this product because it works for me. I also have a lot of allergies to most shampoo's and conditioners, but no allergy to the Dr Bronner's products that I am currently using. I also use his hemp peppermint soap for my hands.
