The good part is that the leather and style are just right. The bad is you really need to be sure of your calf size on these boots, because if you are anything less than 15 in., these boots will slouch and fall down quite a bit. If you like the slouchy pirate look these are good, especially if you are fairly short. These boots come up to the knee cap on me and I am 5'4". Have not decided if I will keep these or not. The footbed of the boot and the style is fine, but the leather is not thick in the calf portion, so they will not stand up like the photo shows, unless your calves are big enough, I guess?

***revision....I am keeping them. After wearing them with a pair of cuffed jeans over the top of them, they look really great. I like the slouchy look. I am considering another color.

I ordered these boots in black and absolutely love them!! I am a size 8 and I ordered the 9 and they fit perfectly. When worn on bare legs, yes, they do slouch down, but when paired with jeans or leggins mine did not move at all. I consider that versatility. Very comfortable to walk in also. For the price it is an excellent buy.

These boots are very cute at a doable price. The nap on the suede looks good up close. The heel is mid-height and manageable. The shaft is large enough to accommodate athletic calves or to go over jeans or super-thick cable-knit socks.

On the minus side, the mouth of the boots do stretch over time and slip lower on the calf with every step; I'm trying to think of a way to keep them up near the knee, and they're cute enough to warrant the effort. Also, the toe is quite pinched and uncomfortable over time, and the foot bed is not that well padded. Definitely buy a size up from your normal size if you plan to use in-soles.

All in all, these are very cute boots with a bit of slouch to them at an affordable price.

This is really a beautiful boot but impossible for me to get on. I even ordered a size larger than normal (I'm an 8) but just could not make it work. Maybe if there was a well made zipper. This was just the style, color, material, etc., I was looking for, but unfortunately had to send it back.

Loved the boots, style and quality were great. The fit was really small, order a size or half size up. I ended up returning them.
