This review is from: Bronze Age in Barbarian Europe: From the Megaliths to the Celts (Hardcover)
This book has helped my studies and directed my interest to ancient architectural sites across Europe. Written in 1976, therefore dates and some conclusions must be assumed to be updated now. However books that you actually go back to over and over again giving you excellent background, pictures and illustrations are rare. So well worth buying. I picked it up tonight during a time team programme on Stonehenge. And yes the beaker ware was pictured and related finds right across Europe shown. It backs up the new information by providing you with the evidence that the programme could not go into.Bronze Age in Barbarian Europe: From the Megaliths to the Celts |
