One magic sword, one gorgeous sorceress, and still the trusty warcat remains.
Quest for treasure this time, in good old sword swinging style. Or, go get the magic item before the bad guys, and keep fingers and maybe legs crossed that the usual 85% change that the beautiful sorceress is really, really, dodgy doesn't pay out on your swordsman self. 3.5 out of 5

This reader wasn't drawn into the continuing saga in this book as I was in the earlier ones. The dangers become pretty tame, the story gets repetitive, too romantic, and boring. But one must finish the tale, so I plod on word by word.

Spoils what I thought to be the greatest Fantasy series ever,

This review is from: The Bronze of Eddarta (Paperback)
If you loved "The Steel of Raithskar" (definitely one of my top 10), don't ever open this book! It's terrible. I can't reveal you the plot, but the magnificent philosophy of the first book is completely reversed in this volume. I have neither read this book for a second time nor felt any wish to read the following ones. If I only had finished after "The Glass of Dyskornis"!
