Bronze Lamp with Frosted Glass Shade

I bought this lamp in 2003 & soon after bought another.
The lamp has a good, solid, heft to it because it's real metal & the glass shade is thick & heavy as well. It's 6" diameter base & 11" high.
I love the design as reminds me of the old gas/torch style before electricity & romantic or Zen style to it as well as very easy to dust.
Friends have asked where I bought it.
I use a 40 reg watt bulb which is bright (I use reveals which are even less bright then regular) & it can use 60 watt as well. It's a touch lamp w/low med & high settings.
12/2007 - Both lamps still going strong & bought a third.
3/2009 - The first lamp suddenly blew a bulb & now only works on high, no response to touch & only turns off if unplugged. I think it's because I ran out of 60 watt bulb & put in 75 watt bulb thinking it wouldn't make that much a difference. It might be my fault. The other two still work fine.
2/2011 - All three are still going strong, even the first lamp, though it still has to be unplugged to turn off.

I bought 2 of these lamps a few months ago. I was very happy with this item, up one of them suddenly stopped working. I changed the lightbulb, I plugged it into a new outlet, but it wasn't that. The lamp simply stopped working. I just received my replacement, and hopefully it will work for a long time. The other lamp (the one that never broke) has given me no problems.

I bought this lamp about a year ago. I love that it has 3 settings. For one, you save money becuase you can keep it dim and second you can create different types of ambiance with it. For the price it's a quality product!

I love this frosted glass shade. It has a beautiful frosted glass shade and turns on with a simple touch and adjust to three different light levels which makes it easy for my kids to turn on and off. It is such a lovely accent in my bedroom and I have two.

This lamp seemed perfect for what I needed -- something to plug into an outlet that is controlled by a light switch. It matches my decor and appears to be a quality lamp for $20.

Unfortunately, this lamp has touch controls -- that is -- turns on when you touch it. So when I flip the switch -- nothing happens until I walk across the room in the dark, find the lamp and touch it. UGH!

Wish the description had said so. Back to hunting for another lamp.

These touch lamps are beautiful and heavy duty. I love that they won't tip over. We have two and they are well made.

Just brought this lamp home tonight and am so excited about it. This is a touch base lamp. It has 3 levels of light and the highest gives off plenty of light to read while laying in bed. The base has a bit of weight to it so it is very sturdy. I have it in my spare bedroom so that when my mom stays with me she can just reach up and give it a little tap or two to shut it off after reading. I am delighted with my new lamp.

The lamps look good, but the tuch switch does not work very well.
The lamps worked out for me only because I didn't need a tuch switch, I used a remote switch to turn on the lamps.

Love the look of these lamps! I was worried about how bright they would be but they are perfect and really make the room look elegant! Very happy with this purchase

I ordered 2 of these lamps at separate times. The first one I received was a touch 3-way lamp and the second one I received was a 1-way switch lamp. I really wanted a matching set of touch lamps. They need to tell you what product you are actually buying, as apparently, they just ship whichever one they choose to.

Both of the lamps look good and work well though.
