What junk! I hung it and put a 5 pound bag of potatoes in it and the chains broke. It fell apart. DON'T BUY THIS - unless you plan to fill it with air!

One of the chains on this hanging basket broke the first time I put vegetables in it. The chains are not
sturdy enough to hold anything but the smallest amount of weight. The manufacturer clearly did not
check to see what the weight tolerance is. I spent literally 3 hours trying to reinforce the chains with
brass wire, hung it again and it broke. I'm going to try to solder some of the links and if that
doesn't work we'll have to buy new chains. I'd like to return it but threw away all the paper work
and don't know who to contact. This is the first time I've bought anything online and not been
satisfied.

As other reviews state, the chains that come with this are freakishly weak. The individual links are not welded closed and the wire they are made out of is thin enough to deform easily. I have no clue why RSVP would use such a poor quality chain.

The baskets themselves are sturdy and well made.

You can purchase enough high quality replacement chain at a hardware store for $5. The baskets are attached to the chains with small clips that can be re-used, so swapping the chains is only a few minutes of work. I was very happy with the result.

Because I was tired of fruit taking up space on the kitchen counter, I bought this as a cheap alternative.

As soon as I got it I placed it on the hook that is on my ceiling... I added about 5 apples and 6 small oranges (tangelos?), then a grapefruit (I know, disgusting), and suddenly the chain breaks and all the fruit falls, and I have oranges and applesauce on my kitchen floor, and a grapefruit still intact.

I didn't even bother sending it back, but what a waste of 20 dollars. I don't recommend buying this.

Though, I will say, the baskets are handy for holding soap and stuff in the restroom. But I do not think that's what the manufacturers had in mind.

I purchased this a number of months ago to hang from my pot rack and put potatoes and tomatoes in to get them off my kitchen counter. This thing breaks all the time. The links in the chain are so soft I can easily bend thiem with my bare fingers (I don't have tough fingers at all). None of the links are soldered, so as soon as I put a few potatoes in it it falls and crashes on my counter, breaking everything underneath it and bruising my veggies. It has been a total nightmare. The only option for it is to take the baskets off the existing chains, throw the chain away and either do a redneck tie up rigging with some rope or buy new chains. I will be taking mine to the hardware store to figure out how I can replace the chains. This thing would have been worth $5 to get the baskets, but is a rip off for over $20. The big joke is that it has 3 baskets but you can't even load up one! I am wondering how they got to take the display picture. They probably snapped the shot 2 seconds before it broke, fell and spilled everything on the floor. This one is a bummer. I'd give it no stars if I could.

The only good thing about this product is that we got a good laugh when we actually read the reviews. We experienced exactly the same - 3 bananas on our first hang and two chains broke immediately. Fruit is on the floor, but at least we know that Amazon reviews are accurate. Looks nice, but not when hanging lopsided with broken chains. Not recommended

The bronze wire hanging baskets are cheap and poorly made. I hung them with three apples in the bottom basket and four potatoes in the middle basket and they fell apart immediately. Items should be verified by amazon for quality before being listed for sale by supposedly reputable companies. What a waste of money. I'll never do that again. Kitty

Looks great but broke immediately when I put vegetables in it. It wasn't overly full but the whole thing dumped out all over the floor and is not easily put back together. It's ridiculous to sell something for this purpose so easily broken; I'm going to return it.

I would not buy this unless you are planning to store marshmallows in it. Even then, you should probably stay away from the big marshmallows :)

Held up fine under the weight of my usual two bananas until the day I decided to go fruit crazy and get a few apples in there too, at which point it crashed down on my head, destroying all of my fruits. Banana and apple mush everywhere. One of the chain links snapped.

DO NOT BUY THIS. It's garbage.

I find this product much more visually appealing than others, primarily due to its color. That being said, it is really cheap. The chain links are easily pulled apart when trying to level the baskets and the clips used to hold the basket onto the chain are easily bent out of shape.

For $30 I am really disappointed with this purchase.

Edit:
Finally fully loaded the thing and the chain snapped a few hours later falling about 6 feet and damaging all of my produce. Sad days.
