Joe Causi is my favorite WKTU DJ and the collection he has put together with Jellybean is a must have for all who have survived the 70's. PLANET ROCK! Come on, need I say more? Ok, "Ain't Nothing Gonna Keep Me From You" by Teri DeSario! "Date With The Rain" by Eddie Kendricks is also a great track. Dance the night away in your favorite platforms. I hope this series of CDs continues for a long time!

This is a wonderful collection of Dance Music. The songs are from the Disco era but they are timeless. I go clubbing almost every week and some of these songs are still played today. This is a must have collection for anybody who throws parties or just simply enjoys high end sophisticated (instrumentation and lyrics) Dance Music of any era.

Overall, a good collection of songs that don't typically make it to current disco compilations. However, customers should know that the tracks (sound as if they) were taken from an LP. Jellybean Benitez is credited as mixing the songs, so it would makes sense that he used LP's instead of digital sources (as most DJ's do), but some songs have not aged well on vinyl! (For example, the version of Kelly Marie's "Feels Like I'm In Love" is the original US Remix with the added horn instrumentation. There is some distortion with her vocals and the omnipresent string section because it's taken from an old record.)

But, this is not a "sit down and analyze" CD - it's for dancing! Enjoy, you'll have fun with this collection!

Teri DeSario's "Nothing's Gonna Keep Me From You" is worth this entire CD. This is an extended version (6+ minutes) and while the track is a classic, the mastering on this particular compilation is disappointing. Not only is there (minimal) static throughout the recording, but the levels have been engineered too high. It's as if the track was dubbed from an LP. Otherwise a great find, as DeSario's voice is pure and angelic. This is a great Barry Gibb song (non-Bee Gees).
