Product Description

Lucky 13 is our best Adrenaline GTS yet. We paid special attention to the underfoot flex by adding Omega Flex Grooves and continuing Omni Grooves in the forefoot, allowing the outsole to bend and shape naturally. Continuing with the tradition of a tailored fit, stretch eyelets lock into the medial side to capture the foot better and technologies like Flextra and anatomical Brooks DNA deliver customized stability and cushion. We're not the only Adrenaline junkies out there - Runner's World named the GTS 13 Editor's Choice in the Fall Shoe Guide in their December 2012 issue. They call the GTS 13 a "classic stability shoe", and quoted one wear tester as saying, "it's soft enough that you can feel the road surface below, but there's enough padding that you don't feel as though you're running on concrete blocks." No luck here, just purely good design. > See the Women's Adrenaline GTS 13Category: Support Weight: 11.3 oz Platform: Universal Construction: Combination Midsole • Anatomical Brooks DNA - Working with BioMoGo, Brooks DNA responds to your every step, dispersing impact and providing ideal comfort and protection as the pace and surface change. • Full-length BioMoGo - Our midsoles are now more environmentally friendly by adding a non-toxic, natural additive to the MoGo compound that encourages anaerobic microbes to munch away once it hits an enclosed, active landfill. • Progressive Diagonal Rollbar (PDRB) - Our tri-density PDRB midsoles are biomechanically engineered to allow for progressive pronation control and to create smoother transitions from the midstance phase into the propulsion phase. • Omega Flex Grooves - This innovation enhances the flexibility of the midsole and provides an effortless forefoot ride while still offering great cushioning and midsole integrity. The unique shape of the groove allows it to flex dynamically without compromising cushioning. When at rest, it supports the shoe; when it's flexing, the groove opens up to...

I started walking about 3 months ago. I started out for 4 miles and quickly went to 8. After each walk the balls of my foot were killing me. I continued walking in the shoes with the swoosh until I couldn't take it any more. So, I went to the store and asked the salesperson for the most comfortable shoe that would last. I went to the track the next morning and decided to see how far I could walk before I started feeling the pain in my foot. Well after 12 miles of walking I still had no pain and decided I had better call it a day and get to work. So, I had to walk 3 miles from where I was back to my car. These shoes are awesome. I have only had them a week, but I have been able to walk more without pain and have lost 6 pounds this week. Total in 3 months 37 pounds. I plan to get a pair for leisure wear as well.

I've been a New Balance running shoe wearer for over a decade. New Balance is not only a great running shoe, but it has my initials on it (thus my preference). I was on vacation and had forgotten my running shoes. I went in Foot Locker and asked for the New Balances. They didn't have them but recommended Brooks as an alternative. I knew that I needed overpronation support. I had never heard of Brooks but they assured me that it was an excellent shoe and they had a 30 day return policy.

The other big advantage is that the shoe is all black. I often wear Rockports because they feel like running shoes but are dressy. I have now ditched the New Balances and wear the Brooks with everything but a suit (and I've even worn them once with a suit). It makes traveling much easier because now I only take one pair of shoes.

People really don't notice that they are running shoes. Because of the color they blend in well with dress slacks.

You will notice it says Amazon Verified Purchase. I bought a spare pair because I liked them so much and I alternate days wearing each pair. I can run extremely well in them also. They aren't as padded as the New Balances but they are lighter so the trade off makes them even.

Great shoes even without my initials.

These shoes are amazing. I've been buying Brooks running shoes for years and I know my size and the type of shoe that I needed so I purchased them off Amazon. However, if you are a first time Brooks buyer I would suggest going to a running store and letting them see how you run and fit you for the right shoe.

These shoes fit me perfectly, I work out a lot and they are comfortable and give me a lot of support for my foot. I wouldn't want a different brand of shoe.

I walk 7 miles a day, weigh in at 290lbs and my left foot has always took out the inside of my shoes for as long as I can remember.

These Brooks GTS 12 (now 13) are even all the way across both shoes after 3 seasons of walking.

So of coarse I had to buy a new set for this year.

    Get Some.

This is my new "go-to" shoe. Nothing fancy, just a very comfortable shoe for everyday use. I stand and walk much of the day - I am a massage therapist, enjoy cooking, walk the dog a coupla' times a day, have an active 9-year old son ... on my feet a lot. I enjoy the 4E width which lets my foot spread out as I strike the ground. I bought these to replace the new Asics shoes I purchased. The new Asics lacked the comfort/stability of the 21xx series, literally began falling apart at the seams (stitches started to unwind) and just didn't "fit" like the old Asics. Bye bye Asics, hello Brooks!

They're my shoe of choice. I never find a huge different with the annual updates of the Adrenalines. Get a gait analysis done and find out from a specialist what kind of shoe you should be running in.

Running is free, so invest in your runners.

I was fitted for the Adrenaline GTS series back when it was on series 11. Now this is my 2nd pair of GTS 13's and I love them. They are perfect for the runners that are >160# and the cushioning lasts well through training for a half marathon and a few other longer races (have not done a full marathon yet).

They are light, not bulky, and very breathable. I would recommend these for all runners that are 6'0"+ and 160#+ as this is the first shoe that has actually lasted me an extended period of time without resulting in joint or foot pain from pounding down all the cushioning. They are very durable and I've had no issues with tearing or the tread wearing down before the rest of the shoe.

They fit a little snugger than the brooks that I already own so I am not 100% happy with them
