I'm a heavier guy, around 240, and always had shin splints as long as I can remember.

I heard these shoes would help and they did. Now I can run and exercise without the pain.

Awesome. If you have shin splints give them a try. Might take a couple weeks to notice the difference.

I am a sever over pronator and these shoes make my feet and knees feel so much better when I'm exercising.

This shoe was first suggested (in 2006) for my husband to wear by a running expert at a local running shoe store. This shoe gives him the support and comfort needed for all his activities. In fact, he has never worn another brand of shoe since. Very satisfied with "The Beast".

I'm also a big, heavy guy with flat feet. These shoes are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. Lots of arch support. I don't even have to put my ortho inserts in....they are really that great! They are also very well constructed! This definitely is a great shoe at a great price!

I have fallen arches and wide feet so not easy finding comfortable shoes that fit right. These work well and look good too.

The very best for someone like me with flat feet. With my arch supports inserted under the insole, they are fantastic. Highly recommended.

The Brooks Beast that I purchased was well below retail in its cost. I bought a size 8 1/2 EEEE so I'm not surprised to get this $130 item at $78. The shoe arrived well ahead of schedule and it was purchased during the Christmas season. I couldn't have been happier with the purchase. It is the only shoe I buy for running. I'm quite used to it and it does live up to its reputation as the best motion-control shoe on the market--at least for me.

I am a 200+ lb. flat footed runner who has tried all different types of running shoes and these work the best for me. Great support and no blisters with the ee size. I usually pay $120 so at less than $80 i am very happy.

I've had flat feet my whole life, and now that I'd put on some unwanted pounds, I was feeling it more in my knees and ankles when I'd go walk or run. My wife told me to try a running shoe store and I did. They sold me these Brook's Beasts and for the first time, when I look in the mirror, I can see my ankles and legs are straight and not rolling inwards.

Better yet, I bought a 2nd pair here on Amazon and saved $50 off the store price. This is such a great sneaker. If you've got flat feet and hurt when running or even just walking all day (like on a vacation tour), this sneaker is a life saver.
