I used to think I couldn't be a runner. Every time I'd run, my ankles and shins would burn so bad I'd have to stop after a few minutes. I'm in great shape too, it just didn't make sense. Well, turns out I just wasn't wearing the right shoes.

I went to a sporting goods store and got custom fitted and had my pronation profiled and all that, and they sold me the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 8. Not only is this shoe comfortable and affordable, I can actually run now without having to stop because of ankle/shin pain.

Highly recommended shoe, but definitely try it on before you buy it to make sure it's right for you.

I bought the GTS 8 after trying all the competing models in the moderate stability category. They hold my heels much better than the other options. I've since bought a second pair and ran two half-marathons, a 20 km and a marathon with them. Great shoe. Comfortable, durable and the stability features really do seem to work. My knees no longer ache, even after long runs (20+ kms).

Brooks Adrenaline GTS 8 is great. I have been using Brooks adrenaline shoes for about 6 years, the GTS7 were good, but not as good as the GTS 6 in my opinion. But the GTS 8 seems to fit better around the heel, giving a better "locked in feel". If you are a current brooks wearer, i would highly recommend this shoe.

These shoes just arrived, and I already love them. While I have been a Brooks runner for a few years now, I think that the GTS 8 is the best pair I have bought yet. They are lighter than many Brooks, while they still lock in your heel for comfort. After doing a speed work out I realized that these shoes pretty much run themselves. They are great for all runners because of the Universal Platform that they are designed to. They are great for overpronaters (like me) or neutral runners. I am now to the point where I will SWEAR by Brooks shoes, they are the best. Plus for the price they are great shoes because they last for at least 400 miles (my last Brooks went 550 miles) without killing your legs. I would recommend Brooks shoes to all the people that I run with because they really are the best in the business!!!!

I'm not sure how many different brands and models of running shoes I tried before I finally discovered this Brooks shoe, but I only buy this one now. When I buy a new pair of these (which you need to do regularly), I then make my prior pair of running shoes my walking shoes, the prior walking shoes my lawn mowing shoes, and so on.

It is best to have an expert fit you for your first pair of running shoes, but if you don't want to do this, or if you aren't close to a running shoe store, then Brooks is probably the safest brand to try first, as it seems to be the brand of choice among most runners I know.

I bought these for my husband. He loves them. He doesn't run, but likes to walk and exercise in them. Very comfortable.

I am now on my 3rd pair of this shoe, and looking to get my 4th. Brooks exceeds all of my expectations and is a great shoe for walking, running, or just about anything. The stability provided by this shoe far exceeds the quality of the others in its class.

I'm on my third pair from the Adrenaline series. Prior to purchasing the Adrenaline 6, I had ran for years through constant knee pain. My doctor had instructed me to ride a bike for cardio instead, but since I am in the military that is really not an option. The Adrenaline shoe has relieved my knee pain, and I've got to say the 8 is the best so far. Love this shoe! The best by far.

as stated in the title, these are great shoes. they fit perfectly and are super comfortable. i was bit apprehensive considering these were my first online shoes purchase but it turned out perfect. it came on time and i've been running regularly ever since

If you are a Brooks shoe fan then these are for you. Same material and craftsmanship, so not some "end-of-the-product--line" look alike. good customer experience; prompt and efficient.
