Brooks changed the size, May 23, 2010
Having bought several pairs of Brooks Dyad 4 I felt it was the perfect shoe for me. I was buying size 12.5. Dyad 4 has been discontinued and replaced with Dyad 5. So I ordered Dyad 5 in the same 12.5 size from Amazon. Wrong! They were too small. Amazon let me return them, but charged me for return shipping because there was no fulfillment error on their part.
If Brooks had not changed the actual size of the shoe they label as 12.5 the purchase would have been successful.
So I went to a local shoe store and got fitted successfully for Dyad 5 in size 13. This is just the risk that you take when buying a sized item over the internet. It is best to buy the first copy locally to see if it fits. Even though Amazon is a good retailer, buying clothing on the internet has risk of misfit.
