I bought this saddle in the honey color and right out of the box it was noticeably comfortable and I haven't had any problems with it. I've read so many things about how these saddles are hard as a rock and uncomfortable until you break them in but I found that to be untrue. I'm sure with time it'll better mold to my body but the first ride felt comfy. I didn't have any of that soreness you sometimes have when riding on a new saddle. So if you're considering buying an aged one because you fear the breaking in period, I would say that you should save your money and just buy it brand new.

I've been using this saddle for about a month now and my commute to work just feels so much better.

Well my B17 came today I looked at it,Hummmmmm. I knocked on it, Errrrrrrrrrrr, then I sat on it. Uggggggg. WAY TO HARD!
Well, I did some research and found your supposed to soak the sit bone part of the seat, not the nose with a wet rag from both top and bottom for about 2 Hr then ride for about a Hr. Well I did just that and WOW that was easy and by mile 5 on my ride, that seat was the most comfortable seat I have ever sat on. And they say it gets better with time as it begins to take on fine details of your Ummm, dairy air......

Ok,I'm sold, every one I spoke to was right..... This is the best $100 bucks I ever spent on a saddle. Period Hands down End!

comfortable right away. break in, as in formation of "dimples" quick, within three easy weeks of use on a stationary trainer, winter time.
texture is pebbly, so you don't slide around on it.
