Great Shoe - great price!, October 15, 2010
I have been buying these Brooks shoes for about 3 years now. I always had a problem with my heel slipping around in the shoe and slightly coming up with every step. These are the only shoes I have found that seem to cater to my narrow heels. They run a little small, so if guessing - I would go a size up. I wear a 9 or 9.5 typically, and these are a great fit at the 9.5 size. They hold up well and for what I need, this was great. I once bought another style, because they were on sale. after a few weeks I had to stop wearing them because it caused a great deal of pain on the top of one of my feet (where I have a bone spur) So I suggest to go to some la-dee-da place and find the exact pair you need, then coming to Amazon to buy them. Also, I heard that the time to buy sneakers is after the big Marathons in Boston and New York (November). These are great and I will never buy any other brand!
