I purchased a pair of Brooks Adrenaline GTS 8 shoes to replace my GTS 6 (which by the way is in my opinion the best version of this shoe Brooks ever made). Just got back from my inaugural run. My opinions of the GTS 8:

- better than GTS 7... I have read numerous reviews about how different the shoe model was on the GTS 7. I have not run into any of the problems with the GTS 8.
- Roughly the same design and shape.
- Less give than previous versions.
- Heel is a bit wider.
- Feels more stable, yet slightly less cushion.
- Believe the GTS 8 will take a little longer to break in.
- More or less true to size.

I suggest giving the shoes a try if you have liked previous editions of the Adrenaline GTS!! Cheers!

Brooks Women's Adrenaline GTS 8 Running Shoe

I have for years always used New Balance or Saucony. My husband runs marathons and as I prepared to train for my first 1/2 marathon he turned me to this shoe. Wow, what a difference. Great support, great fit and total support. I've worked my way up to 11 miles and have yet to get blisters or sore/tired feet. Felt true to size.

I have severe pronation issues and over-use injuries to my knees. This is the ONLY shoe that provides me with a weightless, painless stride as I exercise. Extremely long lasting and the first thing to wear out on the shoe has been the inside liner for me- after about 2 YEARS! I bought 2 from the website since they are GOING OUT OF PRODUCTION. The GTS 9 is sized differently.

I have run in Brooks shoes for 3 years. I tried the new style and was happy with the cushion and the look, but the same size I had before was suddenly too big. Unless my feet shrunk the sizing is a little off. Otherwise, it's a good shoe. GTS 6 is still the best, but GTS 8 will do.

Shoe is light, but it provides great stability. Used in activities including high impact aerobics, running, and walking. This is my 2nd pair, and they are great!

Love these shoes! I am really picky with my running shoes and bought these for a half marathon. They feel great on my feet with no trouble at all. My boyfriend actually has the same pair! Would definitely get these again. My feet are mid arch and I pronate.

I loved these so much, I bought 3 of them - knwoing they would be scarce as newer models came out. Great shoe for distance runners.

Have been running for years and Brooks are my favorite shoes. Other shoes feel good, but Brooks running shoes last and last. If you have trouble with your arches or heels, Brooks is the shoe for support and comfort, and you're blister-free! They fit like a glove and feel like a houseshoe! G Frantz, Dayton, OH

I have run in the Brooks Adrenaline GTS for a few years now. Had to switch from a lighter shoe to a shoe with a little more stability. This shoe is supportive, yet not too heavy. Great for the mid to long distance runner. Excellent value. I tend to buy previous year's models because you can get them for half the price of the current shoe.

I have been plagued with knee problems ever since a torn miniscus after an unfortunate snow boarding incident. I have struggled finding just the shoe that will allow me to run longer distances without nagging knee discomfort. I have logged at least 300 miles on these shoes and still feel there is more left in them. My only prob, and this was due to my inattention is the width. Make sure you pay attention to the letters after the size..DUH! These are wide for me but with some smartwool socks they are fantastic! I have heard not so good things about the GTS 9, so I will prob stick with this model.
