I severely broke my ankle and I have had constant issues with it because all of the ligaments were also torn and repaired, but I was still having pain from the pronation. These shoes help me in my workouts and in walking so that I can do these things now without the pain. I highly recommend to those who may suffer from pronation!! I have better balance and therefore more confidence.

I have an overpronation and wear orthotics. I love the Brooks Ariel, EXCEPT, the heel cup wears out very quickly. I am certain the quality of the shoe is related to the fact they are made in China, but my hands are tied, most running shoes are now. I hate having to pay so much, but they work and my shoes affect my whole body.

I have been living with extremely painful heels for almost a year. My foot doctor and chiropractor recommended this sneaker for my particular heel issue. I'm soooo glad I listened to them. After one week of wearing them a few hours each day and then the second week of wearing them 24/7, my heal pain is gone. I highly recommend anyone to wear these very supportive sneakers. They keep your feet from sliding around, are very supportive in the arch and around the heel and on the pad of the heel. I was hesitant in spending that kind of money on a sneaker, especially not being able to try it on first, but I'm now planning on buying another pair to have on hand. I ordered a half size larger than my normal size and it was just right.

I have overpronate feet, which make it hard to walk for exercise without experiencing pain in my ankles and knees. These shoes have worked great for me. I am able to walk a further distance without the pain. They provide the support i need to help offset the overpronation.

A few years ago I was in Durham, NC at Dukes DFC. Part of the program was to be fitted properly for a shoe to workout in and to walk. There was a store called "Ninth Street Active Feet" and they actually came to the fitness center and fitted us. I was advised to get the Brooks Ariel and have been buying them ever since. The shoe is so comfortable and I feel stable when I walk in them. They have great arch support and I was told that I over pronate, so this is the shoe I needed to wear. I don't run and now I don't workout, but I absolutely love this shoe and whenever I start working out Brooks will be my go to shoe.

Shoes are great. Fit well. A little bit more room in the toebox than the Addiction model, making it easier on my toe that is aging ungracefully.

These are great shoes! I was fitted at a local store, so I already knew exactly what size I needed. I used to have a hard time with shin splints and pain in my knees when running. These are amazing! I've never had any of those issues with Brooks shoes. Training for my half marathon I'm putting some miles on these and they are truely built to last!

Great running shoes! Terrific support and cushioning. This is my second pair. I keep one pair at home and one pair at work. Highly recommend!

I've worn Brooks Ariels since several years ago when my chiropractor kept recommending Brooks for the problem I have with flat feet and pronation of one ankle. He said a lot of my back and leg problems were due to that, and recommended I go to Body 'n Sole (local running shoe store) and tell them he (the chiropractor) sent me. So being a disbeliever but trusting my chiropractor, I went in and told them Dr. Pride sent me and they fixed me up with my first Ariels. I've been through 4 pairs. Last time they were out of my size in Ariel so I got Addiction, thinking it was close enough to the same shoe. It's not. Halfway through the day, I would be limping and would have to come out of them. I went back to the old pair of Ariels and can wear them all day and walk pretty much like a normal person. Local price is the same as Amazon plus if my husband goes with me for his new Brooks Beast ones (he suppinates), they will give us a discount. Love Amazon, however, for a lot of things that are way cheaper online and usually free shipping.
