I bought these shoes for trail running and they are great. They are comfortable and have good traction on most surfaces. I did trails for 2 hours yesterday in them and had no blisters or discomfort. I would definitely recommend them for a neutral shoe runner. The only issue is that I had to size up 1/2 a size from my usual running shoes size;however, those are Mizuno road running shoes.

I am in the army and currently stationed overseas. I was very pleased with how this shoe handled the uneven roads, dirt, rocks and rain. It is very stable and yet provided a very smooth flow. I have a pretty high arch and this shoe was the right amount of support for me. I was able to increase my speed quite a bit while training with this shoe. This is a great trail running shoe. If that's what you need, buy it.

This is the 2nd pair of the Cascadia trail shoe by Brooks that I have purchased. Very happy with both pairs and I enjoy the bright colors of the shoe.

This is a great trail shoe. I love these shoes so much, I wear them for hiking, too. I bought these after my other trail shoes started to irritate my Achilles and loved the fit and performance.
