The shoe is very light weight and fit as expected, I would recommend and even buy again when needed!
Perfect fit, perfect support, they have never given me a blister.
I am not that serious a runner, but the fit and the comfort of this shoe might change my mind.

These shoes changed my life! They are like running on air. A huge improvement from all of the shoes I had been wearing before (I had Saucony, Mizuno, Asics, etc.), and have helped me improve my stride. Additionally, the pain I used to have in my calves was gone after one 6 miler in these shoes. A+++

I spent 11 years wearing Saucony shoes for cross-training. The toe box was wider than in most other brands. However, I became so bored with the same styling year after year. Also, this year I had many problems with my ankles and tore the CFL behind my right foot, which was not only painful, but kept me off my feet and driving for an extended time. That caused me to restart my exercising and watching my diet in order to lose weight. But shoes were a problem. I purchased a pair of black dance shoes, which were great support for my exercising at home, but looked a bit strange walking aout outside, and they weren't meant for walking/running, anyway. On a recent vacation I finally tried alternatives to my Sauconys and, based on a suggestion, tried these wonderful Brooks shoes. WOW! What a difference!! They are so comfortable, have plenty of cushioning and support, and are extremely light. I never spent this much money on a pair of shoes before, but they are completely worth it. NOTE: While I take a size 8 in regular shoes, I was taking an 8.5 in Saucony, but went up to a size 9 in these (AND the dance shoes.) They are NOT too long, either. Just right. Now I have NO EXCUSE to delay my exercise program...YAY!

As someone who has struggled with getting the right fit of shoe most of my adult life, these were an awesome find. I'm in my later 20s, and for the last 15 years I've been dealing with bunions, wide foot width, and high instep (all inherited from my mother/grandmother). Because I've been focusing on finding wide widths, and they are so hard to find in person, almost all of my shoes came from online sellers. I struck out more than I struck gold.

I started running for exercise two months ago, staying mainly on a treadmill, and I found that the New Balance 606 shoes I had been wearing (they were my most comfortable shoe) were the worst thing ever to wear running. After seven days/seven running sessions, I strained the CFL ligament in the back of my heel and I could not run for more than two weeks. Walking was even painful. It was a lesson for me- I need to take care of my feet!

I decided to go to a running store to try on shoes, and this was the first pair I was given to try. I was told I was an overpronator. What a nice feeling! After walking around the store with them on, and trying on others, I knew these were it. I got them home and started the treadmill- walking was wonderful so I tried running. Immediately I felt the cushioning in the shoe and the lightness of its weight.

In short- I have wide feet and these fit perfectly. The mesh forefoot area adjusts. The cushioning is great, very comfortable. I would definitely recommend these running shoes!

I expected to spend a ton of money on new running shoes, especially since I have flat feet. I decided to order these because they were such a great price and figured if they didn't work out for running I could probably still wear them around casually. I fully expected to be disappointed and have to head out to the running store for some expensive shoes. I was wrong! These are great! They fit well and keep my feet cool and comfortable. Most of the pain I was experiencing in my knees is completely gone since I started wearing these shoes. I really think they have helped compensate for my overpronation and flat feet and made me able to run faster and longer.

I bought these shoes because they were the cheapest option with the highest reviews in terms of providing control for overpronation, and they've been GREAT! I have always had really tight calves when I workout, run, lift weights, and they easily get sore. I talked to a trainer at the gym, who had me do squats while he observed me, and told me that I'm an overpronator and that my calves are so tight because they're trying to compensate for my feet rolling inwards.

I assumed this would be the same issue when I decided to take up running, and purchased the Brooks Ravenna 3's. While I was waiting for them to arrive, I continued to run in my old sneakers (no control or stability added, just your average cheap sneakers) and after about a mile or so my calves would tense up and I've have to stop and stretch them before I could continue. On my first day with the Ravenna's this never happened once! My calves don't even seem tight at the end of my long runs now. Would def. recommend!

As others have said, order up either a half or a full-size. I purchased these in the same size as my normal shoes without thinking, and they are very tight and make my toes hurt. Will be ordering the next size up.

Hi I'm Amy and I'm a newbie runner. Not only am I a newbie runner, but I'm one who just recently completed her first marathon. In these shoes.

I'd always worn Adidas ClimaCool shoes to work out in because my feet overheat and I found that they worked well, but my dad wanted to make sure that I got a really good pair for my first marathon. I went to the local running store and after analyzing my gait, they suggested these (newbie note: Get them in a size bigger since your feet swell while running. Who knew?!).

I bought a pair there on the spot and started wearing them on my shorter runs to break them in. Yes, they were more comfortable than my old Adidas and yet still kept my feet cool. And no blisters. I have to admit that was one of my main reasons for never trying another type of shoes. I tried another pair once and ouch! But not with these.

So after less than a month, I bought another pair (here on Amazon). Same type. Different color. They were a great marathon shoe and my feet emerged (relatively) unscathed after 26.2.
