4.0 out of 5 stars Great light shoes
I had been training in these for my first half marathon until I rolled my ankle. It took a while to get used to them vs the ASICS I had been wearing but I love these lightweight shoes. Wear them around for a week or so before running in them because your foot does move differently. It's great on my knees and really makes me concentrate on footstrike. I loved my first pair...

3.0 out of 5 stars Not as good as the Mach 9
After being unable to find the Mach 9 model that I have worn the past few years, I decided to upgrade to the Mach 11 and try them out. At the Mach 11 price, it was worth a try.

Positives: Very light and flexible. Moderate support. Keep your feet cool. Good traction. Very modern look.

Negatives: These shoes rub my feet pretty bad. The Mach 9 model fit...

The Mach 9 model fit immediately to my foot and I was able to pick up my 3 mile runs first day of the switch. The switch to the Mach 11 is taking much longer. The reason I love the Mach 9 so much is because they are like a second skin. They breathe well and do not require socks, keeping your feet much cooler. But with the Mach 11, you will probably have to wear socks until you break them in. I just went back to my old Mach 9s and plan to wear those until they fall apart...which is probably going to be very soon.
