Good shoe for neutral runners. Pros: VERY lightweight. Dries out fast. Great for trails or roads. Cons: Poor arch support. I always have to buy extra arch support (just to slide under arches), but with that, they seem just right! Good even when running in mud, as the mesh section does not extend to rubber, thus does not allow mud and wetness to seep into the shoe with 1-2" puddles. My FAVORITE shoe! (Runner profile: ultra marathoner)

I have complicated feet -- one over-pronates, one under-pronates. I have also had many sprained ankles from my gymnastics days. Having a great running shoe was a huge priority to me, and these shoes fit the bill! I shoe specialist helped me to pick these out, and they have done wonders for the health of my feet, ankles, and knees.

They are incredibly lightweight, which is nice for me. Also, Brooks shoes are built with a curved sole, which is something I prefer while running. The shoes look and feel great. They are the best running shoes I have found, and I'm about to order my third pair! In all other shoes, my feet would really hurt after running 3-5 miles, but I can go far beyond that in these with no problems!

I pair my shoes with Superfeet inserts, which give me additional support, though for most people the shoes would be just fine without them.

This is my second pair of the same shoe and I love them! They offer great support and breath. They are also great looking.

I trained and walked the AVON BC walk in NYC in these shoes. They are perfect for me. I was put into them by a good running shoe store. Their price here was also a good fit.

This is a very well made shoe as you expect from Brooks... however, the side rubbed my foot from the time I put it on. I bought a half size bigger than I usually buy. I bought Brooks Ghost 2 and didn't have that problem. Fit was fine. Not sure the difference. May fit your foot just fine. :)
