After trying MANY many massage chairs and hand held devices, this product won us over. The massage mechanism is smooth and firm, unlike many we tried that were too rough and left us with more aches and pains than we started with! We also like the convenience of being able to move it from room to room as needed. If it is as durable as we hope, we will buy more for other family members in the near future.

I know this is a matter of personal taste, but the chair felt cheaply made and clunky. The massaging beads feel a little too hard. Also it is not very effective on the lower back as the beads simply don't get there. Neither do they get to the top for that matter. I had to return this product, which involves mailing it back to brookstone and you have to pay for the shipping. The service was prompt and I got my money back soon.

Not the GREATEST chair massager but not bad either. It's nice to have on the back of the seat of my office chair. Still can't compete with a real massage but it's better than nothing.
