The novel “ Brothel to brothel” is an all-male adventure about the transition from childhood to adulthood.
Two young men bound by an accomplice friendship since childhood, try to experiment with sex but are unable to understand what love is.
The cruel games of childhood and the cruel games of sex are entangled in the memories of the character narrating the story.
Both their mothers, for better or for worse, are authors and cause of the boys distorted and selfish view of life.
Even friendship is betrayed in the name of pleasure, conquest and intrigue.
The male reader will easily identify in many experiences of the narrator while the female reader will recognize many male behaviours that have made it difficult and sometimes unacceptable her experience of growing up, where the idea of love she dreamed as a child, turns often up to be exploitation and sex only.
The narrator's ironic style, bright and funny, confide us a painful and at times irresponsible growth path, in which it's easy to get lost and the tragedy is always possible.
