Dave's soulful songs are beautifully written lyrically. He has a calming southern charm that will leave you wanting more. His latest CD is wonderful, but don't miss out on the heartfelt "sticks & stones" from his debut album. "Crazyboutya" will make you want to move, your foot will start tapping at first note.

If you like John Mayer, Matt Wertz, Marc Broussard or Gavin DeGraw... don't miss Dave Barnes. Look for him on tour as well. His shows are entertaining and his personality, and great story telling make him irresistible.

I bought Dave Barnes's CD in the fall and have not taken it off my playlist once. I'm a picky listener. I hop from favorite song to favorite song every week, but not with Dave Barnes. His CD has a little bit of everything and showcases true acoustic and vocal talent. I've seen him in a concert that was incredibly small; with his talent and comic ability, he kept the crowd anticipating his every word, his future in the music business is incredibly promising. I'm so thankful that I stumbled on his CD, you should too.

I don't think it's an overstatement to say that, given the right exposure, this album would an instant classic. It is quite rare to stumble across something this good that is not in some sort of spotlight. Dave's voice, while easy and familiar, is no less great and memorable, and it breathes abundant life into these inspired and beautiful compositions. And the fact that the music defies easy categorization (is it folk, R&B, country, Christian, pop?), makes it no less genuine and true. For those who care to discover it, this is one for the ages.

This Christian album was wonderful. Our daughter, at her wedding on June 23rd., chose Track 7, as the music for the Bride/ Groom dance. The song will always be a memorable favorite of mine as "God's love will never change, " & what an example His love is for how we are all to love. Thank you, Dave Barnes, for this beautiful & meaningful album.

Dave Barnes has such real and raw talent, that this CD is a must have for all music fans. A subtle mix of Gavin Degraw and Marc Broussard...his music has a soulful, southern vibe and begs to be heard. It's definatly on my top played list!

There are a handful of times in life when an artist comes along and reminds you why music is such an important part of life itself. I had one of those moments when I first heard David Wilcox, it again happened with Jon Mayer, and most recently with Dave Barnes. He is a fresh, crystal clear voice with his own unique style - his album is the best investment in your happiness that you could make this year! Kudos to Dave Barnes!

I don't know where this guy's been hiding all these years, or why he's not a major star in his own right, but this is one of the best discoveries I've made in recent years. Highly recommended to anyone who appreciates good, honest singing and songwriting.

I love, Love, LOVE this CD! David Barnes is an amazing artist. I can listen to this CD over and over again. His voice is amazing and his lyrics are so heartfelt. Not often does music come that is this great. Everyone should have this CD in their collection.

Since I got my cd over the weekend I have not stoped boppin around the house. There is something about Dave Barnes soulful sound that begs you to tap your foot and bob your head. Might I also recommend his newest cd, Chasing Mississippi - as this cd will too get you moving. Enjoy!

This is a great cd to compliment Barnes' acoustic EP 3 then 4. Barnes' vocals are amazing and as my friend always says "melts any girls heart." If you like Marc Broussard you'll also like Barnes as they both have unique voices and great onstage presence. This CD has been on the top ten at awarestore.com since it's release. I've also met the man himself and he's a humble guy and gives no glory to himself. AMAZING, pick one or two or three up! Give it up for Matt Wertz too, 23 Places
