The DCP-8020 copies up to 17 pages per minute; it's a digital copier that delivers high quality output. It includes an up to 50-page automatic document feeder, and 250-sheet paper capacity.

Coupled with uncompromising, up to 17 page per minute laser printing at up to 2,400 x 600 dpi resolution (HQ1200 technology), the DCP-8020 is the right choice at the right price. Also included is a built-in 9,600 x 9,600 dpi interpolated resolution flatbed color scanner.

Both USB and parallel ports are standard allowing the DCP-8020 to work in both Windows and Mac environments.

This unit replaced my HP 5P laser printer and an older, much larger Sharp copier which had seen it's better days. Both of these laser functions greatly surpass my older pieces of equipment.

The scanner also works great although it did take a little practice to figure it out since I had never used one before.

I opted not to get the model with the fax since that feature doesn't seem necessary...one can scan in a document or photo and e-mail it.

After agonizing over different models and visiting the various office stores in town I'm glad I settled on this machine. It seems like a much better unit than most of the multi-function machines that include a fax and thus skimp on the copy, print, and scan functions.
