The print quality looks very good also.

After years of dealing with noisy, toner hogs like HP, or cheap plastic with horrible print quality as is the case with Epson, I purchased this Brother printer based in part on the positive reviews. The previous 4 and 5 star reviews are correct. This is by far the best inkjet printer I have ever owned (including the very loud, toner-sucking HP crap that cost twice as much). Set up takes a little longer than Epson models, but is it ever worth it. First off, this is not made of cardboard-thin, flimsy plastic as is the case with the Epson. Additionally, the print quality not only blows Epson away, it holds its own with HP. Furthermore, it is simply amazing how long the toner cartridges last. The ones that came with the unit are still printing after a week of heavy use. HP and Epson would have gone through 2+ sets of cartridges by now after this much printing.

Sure, more expensive printers may be better, although I seriously doubt such would be the case with many of them (especially Epson, which by far yields the crappiest finished images of them all). So in summary, if you are looking for a decent printer and do not want to spend more than $100, look no further... this is a very sturdy printer capable of producing good images at half the cost (printer and toner) of the others. Bravo Brother!

UPDATE: These recycled cartridges work perfectly fine with this printer: E-Z Ink Compatible Ink Cartridge Replacement for Brother LC-103(4 Black, 2 Cyan, 2 Magenta, 2 Yellow) 10 Pack Compatible. For a fraction of the cost of regular cartridges, it is simply amazing how many pages can be printed, making this combination (the printer and these cartridges) by far the best deal available today. I am currently spending (quite literally), 1/10 of my previous toner costs for big ink hogs like Epson and especially HP.

Have been using it less than a week.
Easy to set up and use. Best part: when it's powered on or off, it doesn't waste grams of ink sorting itself out.
It replaced a four-year-old Canon Pixma, which devoured ink.

I have owned Brother multi-function and stand alone printers for over 15 years and have had exceptionally good luck with all of them in my home office. Until the DCPJ152W, they have all been laser machines, and in fact I am currently using the Brother MFC-7360N (great machine!). As for color inkjet printers, I have always used the Canon Pixmas, HP Officejets, Lexmarks, etc., without ever considering Brother. What a mistake. This new wireless machine was easy to set up, it's very easy to use, and the quality is as good or better than all of my prior inkjets. And with ink usage expenses at the low end of the spectrum...what a bonus! By the way, I have a Macbook Pro with dual Mac and Windows operating systems (through Parallels). The Brother DCPJ152W works flawlessly in both operating systems.

I purchased this printer two weeks ago to replace a fairly new HP all-in-one printer THAT NEVER WORKED CORRECTLY! The wireless setup with my home wifi took a bit of time, but the instructions from Brothers on this printer got me through it. The text print quality is plenty good for households, the copy and scan functions work without a hitch, and I love that I can print from my iPhone. It prints suprisingly good photos with the right paper. I'm absolutely a happy camper. In short, it's a good all-around product for home use. Now that I have it, I wonder why I bothered to struggle with the piece of junk I got from HP for more than a year.

Faster, uses less ink and the ink is cheaper. The prints on MY HP were fine but every time you printed it cleaned the heads, took forever and wasted ink. The Brother printer starts printing almost instantly and looks just as good.

I like the printer . I bought it because I was tired of printing with the wire so decided to swith to wirelees. Good choice, easy set up even i had to to download printer driver from "Brother" website because I own Apple with out CD reader, but still easy to set up. We have set the printer on secound floor and usualy we use computer from first floor and the is no problem. Printer is a bit loud while printing but easy and smooth printing( I don't print pictures so I don't know quality of pictures). Low cost of ink . Highly recommended.

I have always used HP printers in the past and never had an issue (HP Photosmart 8250 for 7 years), this one was purchased as a gift for my father who only needed the copy/scanner function. Also since he does not know how to use a PC, i needed a printer that can be a stand-alone without needing a pc to set up. As many of the new Printers go , the stand-alone feature no longer exists and requires a pc setup. This printer came straight out of the box to the desk and is now used as a copier w/o needing a PC. You can also use 3rd party inks w/o triggering cartridge errors as other make do.

This printer is very nice so far. It prints quickly and with good quality. Also, it was very easy to set up and the wireless has worked perfectly so far. My last printer was a canon and the wireless was sketchy and more of a frustration than it was worth. So far I like everything about this printer except that it does not work with MAC 10.5.8!! But, I think that is a MAC problem, so I won't blame it on this printer. It was very frustrating though because I already set it all up before I figured that out. I'm keeping it though because I do have other computers in the house I can use it with. Overall, great printer and great buy.
