All features worked right out of the box with my Mac and Windows machines. Setup on our LAN went very smoothly. The Duplex feature and having two paper trays is very nice.

4.0 out of 5 stars Brother HL-5170DNLT Laser Printer with Duplex, May 16, 2011

(REAL NAME)
This review is from: Brother HL-5170DNLT Network Monochrome Laser Printer (Office Product)
Just bought this printer for my small business office. It's quiet, holds a lot of paper, prints quickly and has that great crispness lasers are known for. It will duplex to save paper and is much less expensive to run than an ink jet. My only problem was setting up the correct software drivers. My office computers run on Windows Vista, XP, and 2000 with both 32 bit and 64 bit so I had to add extra drivers to make this work for everyone on the network. Once I figured out the USB cable was USB002 port, things were fine.
