Designed for high-use business environments, the Brother HL-2600cn is a network-ready color laser printer that produces high-quality output and has plenty of add-ons. Able to handle big print jobs, the HL-2600cn has a 266 MHz MPSTM PR4955 processor and 64 MB of standard memory (expandable to 384 MB). Automatic switching of printer emulations and drivers from PC to Mac and from one input source to another (USB, parallel, Ethernet, or CompactFlash) provide both flexibility and reliable operation.

Print resolutions of up to 2,400 x 600 dpi result in accurate, true-to-life output, while print times as fast as 24 ppm for monochrome and 6 ppm for color deliver jobs when you need them. The standard 250-sheet paper input capacity can be expanded to 1,000 sheets with the addition of two optional input trays, while a 250-sheet output tray is standard. A wide variety of paper sizes are supported, including letter, executive, A4, A5, B5, and envelopes. An optional duplexing unit provides automatic double sided-printing should you need it.

The included software includes a number of applications designed to increase print quality, including color advances photoscale technology (CAPT), pantone color matching, interactive help, storage manager, and driver development wizard. The HL-2600cn weighs about 86 pounds and has a 19.7-by-20.5-inch footprint. It also comes backed by a one-year on-site warranty.
