Easy to use, love individual cartridges
Easy to use, love individual cartridges on the Brother MFC-490CW. No problems changing them at all, easy out and easy in. Good print value, mostly use draft mode unless we need better quality to extend the life of the cartridge and save a few bucks

No more color printers
Brother and, apparently, other printer manufacturers, force you to buy color cartridges EVEN IF YOU SET THE PRINTER PREFERENCES TO GRAYSCALE and print only in black and white. You may think you are not using the color cartridges, but you are and WHEN A COLOR CARTRIDGE RUNS OUT YOUR PRINTER FREEZES EVEN THOUGH YOU STILL HAVE BLACK INK! See [...] If you want to...
