For quick, no-mess, no-hassle laminating, Brother has created the LX-1200 wide/professional laminator. With this new cool pressure laminating system, there's no warm-up time, no heat, and no slippery pouches to deal with, unlike traditional laminators. Just insert your document and press Start. The cartridges are 12 inches wide and can finish documents as small as business cards or as long as banners in just seconds. The drop-in cartridge gives you the choice of three laminates: double-sided laminate to protect documents from heat, moisture, wear and tear, dust, grease, and chemicals; magnetic-back laminate, which gives you a laminated front and a magnetic back so that it will stick to most metal surfaces; or adhesive laminate, which is great for creating display signs and window stickers.

This laminating system also features an auto sensor and built-in trim cutters that, at the touch of a button, automatically trim rough edges. Plus, it can round the corners for a more polished look. The LX-1200 speeds the laminating process by offering a "continuous mode" feature, which is ideal when you have multiple documents to laminate. Although you don't need a computer to use the laminator, Brother includes PrintMaster Gold software as an added bonus.
