Buckeye is on a collision course with stardom!!,
By Patrick O'Donnell (patrickodonnell@mindspring... (San Francisco, California) - See all my reviews

In a nutshell, if I could put my money on one band - it would be Buckeye!!! Anyone dialed into the San Francisco music scene knows that these guys are unbelievably talented. Tracks like "Dear Elaine", "Dusty Roads", "Lonesome Climber" and "Sweet Home High Lonesome" are classic alt-country/rock. Check this out - you will not regret it.

Rock and Roll is back,
By A Customer
This review is from: Brother Love (Audio CD)
Brother Love is bringing back to music what has been missing for almost the last decade, heart and soul to their music. They have the classic rock edge, but also have the grittier alternative side. What you get is your monies worth with this new album.

Hidden Gem,
By jeff walker (Chicago) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Brother Love (Audio CD)
For all those listeners out there interested in classic rock, but aren't afraid to be surprised occasionally (you know who you are--fans of Wilco, Sunvolt, The Jayhawks, Blue Rodeo, etc.), then get ready for Buckeye. These guys blend hints of Country, Rock, R&B, Honky-Tonk, and Roots Rock in a debut album that is great listening all the way through. Some tracks like "Dear Elaine" and others are instantly accessible and radio worthy, while other more unusual banjo driven ballads like "House on a Hill" may please the connoisseur , there is no doubt that there is a little something for everyone on this disk. Isn't it cool when something in your collection pleasantly surprises your guests at your party?
