Product Description

From the Manufacturer

This compact, fast, full-color fax machine with handset, printer, copier, and scanner allows PC faxing and delivers fast inkjet printing at up to 10 ppm black and 8 ppm color. You can also select high-resolution 2,400 x 1,200 dpi printing for exceptional color output.

Simple one-touch keys handle speed dialing, scanning directly to email. OCR and imaging applications complement high-resolution color scanning at up to 2,400 dpi (interpolated; 600 x 600 dpi in Windows XP). An 8 MB dual-access memory stores up to 480 pages so faxes can be scanned in while sending or receiving, and receiving can continue even if paper runs out.

Compatible with Windows and Apple computers, the MFC-3200c includes a USB interface (cable not included), a 100-sheet paper capacity, and 20-page ADF. It is backed by a one-year warranty.

5.0 out of 5 stars So Far, Nice Piece of Equipment, January 13, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Brother MFC-3200c Multifunction (Office Product)
Have only had it a week but am particularly impressed with the copy machine function. The copies are almost identical to the original and it takes one button and a few seconds for the whole process. Scanned a photo to my computer, and used the OCR function to scan a page of text into Word. The fax receives 4.0, but I haven't tested the send fax yet. Color Copies look great, too. I can't complain about anything yet. I hope it is conservative with the ink.

1.0 out of 5 stars Please never ever buy this multi-function brother MFC-3220C, February 22, 2007
This review is from: Brother MFC-3200c Multifunction (Office Product)
I have to keep changing the cartridges every 3months even while I use the machine sparingly. I have to compulsorily change the color cartridges, though the black ink cartridge is full. I rarely use color. To top it all, I get the lousy error message Error-41.

I bought this machine thinking I will have a fax machine for some occasional use. I repent buying this. I will never ever buy another Brother machine.

1.0 out of 5 stars I will never again purchase a brother machine again, June 30, 2005
This review is from: Brother MFC-3200c Multifunction (Office Product)
I use my 3220C at home. My experience is if you don't print every day the printer head drys out. I tried to clean the head with water, alcohol etc. and could not repair it. I contacted Brother support and they gave me a Service Center adress 50 miles away. I live in a large city! I bought a new head for $40. Guess what! The head dried out again. I bought a complete new same machine for $99, because thought I must just have gotten a bad one and I also had two spare cartridges sets. Guess what! Man do I feel stupid.

Also, when the cartridges are 2/3 empty. The machine displays the cartridge is emtpy and you can't do anything with the machine until you replace the cartridges. Most of the times you need to replace all cartridges at the same time. God knows why. I'm not using much color! How the heck do the color cartriges run empty all the time?

This product stinks. My suggestion. Do not buy this product, no matter how cheap you can get it.
