Be sure to check your manual for compatibility!!, May 16, 2011

The product description says to check your manual for compatibility. DO NOT SKIP this step! I had received a set of prewound bobbins with my machine and did not realize that Brother makes machines that use different size bobbins. These bobbins actually work with 8 machine models only and would have taken only seconds to add this information to the product description -- just a bit longer than typing "check your manual for compatibility." At least the description could have included information on the size of the bobbin -- the 9.4 on the card really does not tell me anything. Give me a measurement. These have about a quarter of an inch of space to hold the thread. My bobbins are ones that have almost 1/2 an inch of space to hold thread ... It will cost far too much in postage to return these ... so I will try to eBay them and maybe recoup a tiny bit of the cost of these absolutely unusable bobbins.
