This order of 10 bobbins just arrived at the same time as my new Brother CS6000i machine. Yeah even straight guys enjoy doing a sewing project once in a while for outdoors gear and camera covers, boat covers, doggie jackets, or patching a worn out elbow. :-) I had been sewing on a 1929 Star portable machine with steel bobbins under a metal deck plate. WOW, see-thru plastic bobbins. And with the clear bobbin window in the sewing machine deck I can see in an instant just how close I'm getting to running out of bobbin thread. These bobbins are identical to the 4 that came with the machine. What can I say...they work fine! 10 to a bag for just over [...].

Just what I needed for my Brother SE350. I don't know why people do not READ the discription of things and then give them poor reviews based on their assumptions. There is nothing wrong with the product what so ever!

Buying OEM parts and accessories is the way to go. OEM meanss you know they'll always fit and work properly with your machine. As expected, these Brother Bobbins fit and worked perfecty in my Brother CS6000i and having pre-wound spares during a large project, in my case quilting, means fewer interruptions.

If the SA156 is the size that fits your Brother machine these will work very well for you.

You really have to know what product your machine needs. It would be easy for me to head to one of the commercial fabric shops in town and assume that the Singer bobbin they sell would probably work (and they tried to convince me that it would).

But I'm glad I went with my instincts and ordered the real deal. It's not worth a couple bucks shipping (if you don't have Prime) especially if the wrong parts end up killing your $300+ machine!

These fit my old SE270D before it died too. FYI.

I DO know what I need for my machine. I went directly to my machine specs on the website, looked at the optional accessories and bobbins and cassettes- typed in the amazon search. The first batch arrived correct, they fit and worked great. The second batch did NOT fit. They also did not come with a label. They were in a clear bag and they wouldn't even fit on the machine. My guess is that amazon has a bad supplier who jipped em'...because I am not just some uneducated person buying random bobbin cases- I was shipped the wrong ones the second time. So...the product works great- go somewhere else to get em.

I wonder if the product I received was really the SA156. That is what the machine is supposed to take and that is what I ordered, but they jam up the thread until I switch to the bobbins that came with the machine. They should be the same thing. They came in a clear bag with no product number on the bag, however, the bag does have the triangle with the number 4 just like the picture, but it's possible I was sent the wrong bobbin. Anyhow, they don't work.

I had purchased a set of generic bobbins for my SE 400 and they turned out to be a little larger than expected. I guess there is a reason for products to be sold specifically for certain machines. They are regular plastic bobbins comes as a set of ten, fits perfect and looks like good quality ones ...only time will tell.
Packaged really well, shipped fast i ordered them at 4 monday evening and received them by 2:30 tuesday afternoon...great customer service as expected by amazon!

These bobbins are not sold in my regular fabric stores so I was happy to find these on Amazon.com and for a good price!
