First of all, shipment was really fast! Secondly, this embroidery hoop is great and does a whole lot more than the small or medium Brother hoop. I was able to embroider a 5-foot sign for an upcoming craft faire in just a couple of hours! It would have taken way much longer if I had used the medium hoop that came with the machine.

Bought the bigger hoop for my Brother SE400 thinking I could do slightly longer embroidery wording than with the smaller hoop that came with my machine. Even though the big hoop works exactly like it is supposed to, my machine can't work in a larger area than 4x4 so my idea did not work. The larger hoop does make it much easier to place my fabrics so I use it all the time. My 4x4 hoop is now my spare.

The brother SA 434 4" x 6 3/4" Large Hoop was exactly what I've been needing. Allowing for more area to be sewn, larger designs and work space.

I love the work space this hoop gives me.. a sewing Diva needs her room to spread out her designs. If you have purchased the Brother SE400.. this is a must have, while the 4x4 hoop is wonderful and functional this large hoop will make your day!

I received the Medium Hoop with the machine and use it for most projects, but the larger frame is great when monogramming bath and wash towels. Great prices available through Amazon made this a great buy.

I recently bought a Brother embroidery machine and this hoop saves the time and energy of having to keep rehooping your project. Even though my machine's sewing field is only 4" by 4" (about the same size as the hoop supplied with the machine), you can work in one half of this hoop and then adjust the clips to work in the other half of the hoop. This is good for any repetitive work such as a project I'm working on that requires dozens of embroidered butterflies (sheers for my windows). I can fit a few more butterflies in this hoop before I have to place the hoop on another part of the fabric. I also found it worked well when I was monogramming names onto beach towels. It was easier for me to align the letters if I didn't have to change the hoop halfway through a name. It really was worth the purchase price to me.

Easy process - arrived in good shape. Works as well as smaller hoop, Excited to do more crafting for my grandchildren.

I got this hoop to increase the maximum size that I could embroider on my LB6800PRW. The LB6800PRW comes with a 4" hoop, and to go bigger than that, you need to unhoop, then rehoop the fabric. This proved impossible to do and still line up. This hoop has 4 pins for 3 different attachment points, so you can do 4" of the design, then the next 3 inches without unhooping the fabric. By using this, I honestly can't see the seam in the embroidery. It lines up perfectly. If you want to do larger embroidery designs on your LB6800PRW or SE400, I recommend this!

although my brother machine only does 4x4, i like to use this hoop as my back-up/extra hoop. makes my work faster...i can have it ready as soon as the other one is done.

It is a really nice hoop to help you do a long pattern and not have to rehoop as much.
