Remember when they were a rock band?,

Capitalizing on the success of 1989's "Cycles," the Doobies followed with this set. While "Dangerous" made the only real inroads on radio. There are enough worthwhile tracks here to justify this as a completion to your Doobies collection. It may take a couple of listens before you're fully into this one, but take the time, it's well worth it.

This CD finds the Doobie Brothers in 1991 and a rock scene that was much diffrent from what they had played in the past!! Most of the songs have a harder edge to them, like the single "Dangerous." By 1991, hard rock and metal were on their last legs and alternative was getting ready to kick in. Some were between those two music formant lies this CD. I do think it is worth a listen for "Dangerous" and "Excited" alone.
