The deck itself is not the best stuff I've seen. The deck's imagery looks like a bunch of guys went out in the desert and had fun with a digital cam. They took pics in somewhat cheesy poses and costumes. I deeply dislike the court cards-calling a gay man 'queen'. Some would take offense at that term as it was a derogatory term used by straight against gays. Also some of...

They took pics in somewhat cheesy poses and costumes. I deeply dislike the court cards-calling a gay man 'queen'. Some would take offense at that term as it was a derogatory term used by straight against gays. Also some of the imagery is a bit of a stretch but I can see it on some levels. They are other gay themed decks out there that don't differ just to differ then the typical deck. Lo scabero's Gay Tarot is actually better imo. I do like though older men in the pages cards, that is about right- young or old touches folk-the 'page' energies. it isn't a bad deck, but there are better out there.

Here are some of the comments from men and women who have purchased the deck that have been sent to the Oak Grove:

...What can I say? the deck and its photos are beyond my greatest hopes, and mine were rather high. In summary, they are marvelous. Each one is stunning, and several immediately called to me. ...

...I received my cards yesterday and was more that pleased. The art is great and I am sure that these cards will rapidly become my favorite...

...We may be the first Faerie community to use the deck in Heart Circles and other spiritual functions. Thanks for your good spirit!... (from a community space for Faeries in the desert)

...My deck arrived and after carefully examining each card in the deck, I shuffled them and pulled my first card--the Universe which I took as a very good sign...

...I am sending one of my four decks to my old Jungian professor, whose special interest is the Tarot and its use in getting in touch with the Collective. He was quite the man for using Tarot as a good source of highly concentrated symbolic knowledge useful to look into the mind... (from a psychologist)

...The deck has proved really powerful to read with and I was able to gain quite a powerful clarification for an ongoing situation on my life at present. Thanks for creating something really special - it wouldn't have been as easy to see the truth if I'd used another deck... (from a theologian)

If you decided to get a copy of Brotherhood Tarot for yourself, we hope that you will find the cards as fun, exciting, and useful.
