I've seen plenty of legal shows and, as a retired attorney, I usually know what about them is credible and what is over the top. What I really love and respect about this series is that, while there is a healthy dose of poetic license, the show really does capture the competing interests in the criminal justice process with nuance and sensitivity. The trial scenes are so well done I wish I had seen some of them to use as inspiration back when I was practicing, and many are so even handed that one feels conflicted about the outcomes. The characters are reasonably well drawn, with balance between the defense lawyers and prosecutors, particularly the three leads. The central character, while a bit too perfect, is a truly appealing and admirable woman role model, and has a lot of great lines. I only wish the criminal justice system were more like this show, but unfortunately such caring, principled and competent lawyers tend to be the exception rather than the rule. It's a shame there aren't more seasons.

Sad that the show was cancelled. It really captures the spirit and diversity of Philadelphians! I worked in City Hall & it showcases the historic building well.

Great scripts, great plots, great acting, great production values and canceled at end of first season by network Zombies who were apparently totally clueless!

This is a surprisingly good show, with a good assortment of characters, nice undercurrents (Rick Hoffman as the lovelorn asst DA, for instance). Gritty and legally accurate (as far as I know), with a good heart underneath. Too bad Amazon pulled the Prime access as I was getting to episode 16 of 22. Now they are $1.99 a pop? What's up with that?

As usual you can no longer trust that the main network stations to give a very well written and well acted show a chance. Very Very Sad.
